MADTOWN'S DEBUT... AND MBLAQ NEWS

So, MADTOWN finally made their debut on M!Countdown

since the announcement of their debut, people have gone nuts, and not exactly in the right way.

A lot of A+ took to Twitter and Tumblr to hate on these boys for many reasons. I won't deny that I was a little unhappy when I heard about them debuting because I was actually expecting a comeblaq, but there is no reason to hate on them because MBLAQ takes their time to release new material. But these boys deserve their debut, just like any other group. Especially Sangbae since he's been a trainee for six-seven years and he finally made it!

The song, I like. I dig it, it's my new jam of the week, until I go back to weep over Thirty Seconds To Mars and the concert I am missing today thanks to my midterms.

I guess for a debut performance it's not bad, but with the affluence of rookie "hip-hop" boy groups, they really need to do more than this to stand out. The dance didn't seem strong enough like it does in their MV, the MR was way too loud overpowering their voices most of the time and, just... well, I hope that for their next performance they notice those things and fix them. Moos is the alpha monkey and the rest are his green lackeys. Moos was the only one I could hear properly, and OMG can you believe this guy is the same who did Thunder's part in Oh Yeah? Boy has gotten better.

Also, YOLO? Just, no. Please, why? Why did you call your debut song YOLO?

Going back to my first paragraph, there was also the whole "Pro C Scandal" (Pro C is the rap sub-unit of MADTOWN formed by Moos and Buffy, and JFC who thinks of these stage names?) which is a very shady subject since there isn't any proof of this happening at all. (article here, from Netizen Buzz. One should know not to trust what comes up here but...). PROOF PEOPLE, I ASK FOR PROOF.

Now, for those of you who aren't aware of it, Sangbae aka Moos of MADTOWN was set to debut with MBLAQ back in the day, but due to health problems he had to withdraw and was replaced with Thunder(bae, ily). I wonder, he trained with MBLAQ for that debut for two years before he had to quit, and they seem to be pretty good friends with each other—he and Seungho follow each other on Instagram—so why would he talk trash about his ex-bandmates, hyungs and friends?

(cutie Sangbae went from MBLAQ maknae to MADTOWN leader. Awww.)

Anyway, I fully support MADTOWN and their debut, and really wish them all the best. And I would end it there, but apparently one can't talk about MADTOWN without mentioning MBLAQ (blame my biased-ness).

Their concert in Korea is called "Curtain Call", and you know what, that title gives me the creeps. When I heard it, I knew something bad was coming, and now here is the proof. Excuse me while I sob in a corner.

No official statement from JTC regarding who is getting shipped off to the army, since the troll director didn't say anything, but it's most probably the '87 line.

We can only wait till JTC or the MBLAQ members themselves confirm this, but... *ugly sobs*.

In some good news, it seems with the debut of their neew boy group (WHERE IS TWO X JTC? WHERE?) the peeps over JTune have decided to up their game at last! and created official Twitter accounts for MBLAQ and MADTOWN. It's kind of like a no-brainer right? Twitter helps these groups keep in touch with their fanbases outside of Korea, and MADTOWN are going in the right track from the beginning, except... it took J Tune Camp FIVE FREAKING YEARS and a new PR/Marketing Manager to do something as simple as opening a Twitter account for MBLAQ.

Better late than never, right?

Here is MBLAQ's official Twitter and here is MADTOWN's official Twitter, if you are on there go follow these accounts, please. Even if MBLAQ only has one tweet while MADTOWN is tweeting like crazy.

I leave you with this always wonderful performance of HIP SONG by my boys and dear God someone hold me back or I'll jump Thunder like woah.

I actually feel better than they are going to the army. Why? Because I have been reading and hearing rumors that MBLAQ will disband! And I cried a lot of times because of that. Everytime I see news or hear stuff about them disbanding I would just cry right there and then. So when they said MBLAQ will go to military, I felt relieved that they will not disband. They might be away for 2years but I know they will comblaq no matter what. It's that blind faith again. I will always support MBLAQ no matter what and I really really hope that they comblaq after military services.

People are hating on them because there's no comeBLAQ? Yeah... that makes sense *cue sarcasm*. That's like saying the sun is stopping the moon from coming up.

Anyway, I actually don't really like the song so much (no wow factor and also because YOLO... which I can't help but roll my eyes at) and Madtown at the moment is very meh for me. I'm starting to get tired of the hip hop look now too but since it's JTune, I have my fingers crossed that Madtown will come out with something awesome :)
