Nasty Nasty~

A member from Ze:a and 9Muses formed a co-ed duo/trio named Nsty Nasty.

Oooh~ U SO Nasty~

There's so many other groups I could talk about (2PM, TTS, Teen Top) but I decided to choose this one because it's way more interesting. Why is it more interesting??

Simple. Because it's a y concept. I like y concepts ^_^

I'm not all too familar with these groups. I know a few members and a few songs in each. But when I saw this video in my suggestions I had to watch it. The title won me over.

There are still those cutesy shipping sensual/ual haters out there who will hate this and bash with every ounce of energy they hate. Blah.. Blah.. But there's another debate that's surfacing.

Trouble Maker.

I didn't even think the two of them correlated until I read the comments on their videos.

Trouble Maker copycats.

Let's be honest here. 2Hyun did not invent the y duets. Sure they made it somewhat acceptable in the Kpop world but they weren't the first. Trouble Maker was influenced by other artists. Nasty Nasty might've been influenced by Trouble Maker. What's the big deal?? If they look up to them that's cool.

Personally I like it. Sometimes y can be so evident that it takes you aback (Hyuna...) but with this I felt it was more sensual and angsty. I'm assuming the Ze:a dude was going with both of them. Although the addition of another girl to the song and dance seemed futile it was different. Can I get two guys and one girl subunit next time?? I bet everyone will call the girl a .

The song fit the mood perfectly. I always love a good jazzy beat. Jazz is getting popular these days. #TeamSax

I find it ironic that they pick him because back in the summer when Ze:a released "Breathe" I was attracted to his vocals and this is a song full of his voice. He sounds nice. And they blend well together. Her voice sounds nice too. Youtube search 9Muses Acapella. Her vocals are strong and gorgeous. The two of them probably have better strength as vocalists than TM only because Hyuna isn't exactly a singer. While they ace in the talent department the chemisty isn't all there. TM was in each other's pants from day one. I felt like the Ze:a dude was a little awkward and they didn't feel one on stage to me. I felt like they were more interested in pleasing the audience rather than each other. You have to please your parther in order to please us. I think they have a long way before they can even be given the title as "TM copycats."

What I like most about this is that they did try. And suceeded for the most part. The song isn't pop. It's more jazz. I have no doubt that their vocals are up to par. The dancing wasn't awkward which is extremely important. y shouldn't be awkward. (Girls Day...) Variety and diversity is invading Korean music. I love the fact that you have options. You can go cute or y. Pop or electric. Rock or r&b  That's what music in a nation should be. One language but many genres and messages.

I'm excited to see what else this little duo/trio will bring~

(P.S that 3rd member is supposedly a trainee in a group that's going to debut next year. Thirsty b*tches be promoting so early now XP)

Nasty Nasty Fighting!! <3
