Moony_kat has explained everything perfectly, lol. Everyone seems waiting for BB's-psy comeback and the new girl debut, yet suddenly he choose to debuted another boy group, which obviously bcs of his personal interest not bcs of the people's demand. But Im okay with that, since team B was my bias in WIN first, lol. But I think somehow this will make blunder for YG. When debuted, ikon will be compared to Winner and they have big pressure to at least achieve same things as Winner had, which is painfully difficult. Winner bcm so successful bcs of some main reason. The hype that Winner is the first YG's male group 8 years after bigbang, their unique identity compared to bilions boy groups out there, their voices, etc. ikon doesn't have similar hype and their vocals are their biggest weakness. I hope the new show will give us much better improvement in vocal lines. But I still dont get their identity. If they choose to bcm another 'hip hop with dances' group, what will make them different then? Ppl who love Winner came from many ages, not just teenagers. Lot of fangirls love Winner bcs they are bored with so many identical groups. If Ikon really debut as hip hop group, they will attract teenagers who also attracted to many similar male groups out there. I really wish YG will make ikon diferent and with their own identity. I mean, selling 'BI as the new GD' wont always works. It might attract hatred from many VIPs. We still have Mino and from we all see, Mino is much more similar and if YG want to attract new fans who missing GD who is in military service, for example, ppl will come to Mino, not BI. Also ikon is attracting more international fans than domestic (korean and japan) ones. I also dont like how YG left other members in the shadow. Even now many ppl already made fun of it, lol. I really wish for ikon success, but as the whole group, not just one person.

I totally agree on the WINNER thing! That group managed to win me over, so I'm totally dedicated to them and I do not understand why YG rushed into debuting yet another boy group so early >.< I feel that Papa YG has become way too greedy lately... like *cough*Sm*cough...
iKon is the name of the next group that is to debut after the survival WIN &MATCH ends (the survival is scheduled to air starting with September the 11th) and 3 members of the old Team B have already been named as fixed members (I don't understand why they're making them go through a survival again if they're already fixed members, but whatever!) and those are B.I., Bobby and Ji Hwan (doesn't Team B deserve to debut in its original form or what???). The show will feature battles between 9 members: the original members of Team B, all of them and 3 new trainees no one ever heard of them before. I assume they're going through a elimination process, as only those who manage to last till the very last episode will debut in iKon... which is bull if you ask me >.<" I really, really do not understand why they're rushing into debuting this new group after poor WINNER has gone through so much. Now I know Papa YG is a fan of B.I and considers him the center of universe and all, but that doesn't mean WINNER doesn't deserve the appreciation and respect as artists. Only they know how much they worked to get where they are today TT^TT I find it disrespectful, really :(
