GRI~

Hello my fellow bamboos

I recently...well... not recently. JUST NOW, ya, that's right! Okay, just now, I was browsing through internet and came across a random GRI picture.

So, being a curious person, I scanned through some comments below and noticed that our fellow nyongtorians were discussing about the topic on "seme & uke".

Yup, so this blog main topic will be on SEME & UKE!!!!

For those who don't know what seme and uke mean. Here is a brief explanation:

Seme: Dominant character

Uke: Submissive Character

Very brief right? *applause!*

Anyways, back to where I stopped.

Throughout the few months that I have been in AFF, I have seen lots of Gri fanfics with a variety of genres. The most sensitive ones among the readers is about whether is it top Ji, bottom Ri OR bottom Ji, top Ri.

In my opinion, I think being a dominant character, one must have the following personalities:

-Independent

-Good leadership

-Protective

-Masculine

-Physically strong (Depends on how you think it~)

And now, for the submissive character:

-Dependent

-Able to be a good follower

-More feminine as compared to the dominant counterpart

-Physically weak (again, depends of how you think of it~ hehe)

-Have a shy side.

Look at Jiyong shii, does he fulfil either criteria? Partly. He is independent and he has a good leadership. He is oftenly being portrayed as being protective, which I can't really believe in it because we never know what he is like in reality. It is true that he might be a little possessive as shown in those fancams. His lookS, especially his eyes...etc.

However. He claimed that he has a soft side and that he cries alot. Also, as compared to Seungri, he is more feminine and tends to be more shy than Seungri. All of you would surely agree with me.

For Seungri shii, he fulfil either criteria as well. Partly. He is the maknae, the person that must be well taken care of, spoil by, loved by his older brothers. He is often portrayed as the innocent one, the naive one etc. And, seriously speaking, I can't deny the fact that he is cute. YES! He is freakingly adorable. Not to mention that there was a period of time when he followed his leader's footsteps.

However, you also can't change the fact that he has abs. His body is actually well built than Jiyong. He isn't as innocent as he seems now and other than that, he is an independent person. He had also once said before that he wants to be the one that leads in a relationship.

So, after much sharing of my personal opinions, I would want to hear from you~ What do you think? Would you support SemeJi UkeRi OR SemiRI UkeJi. Feel free to voice out your opinions~

Panda.

Ps: Want to know which side I support? Read my stories and you will find out! *Wink wink*

Note: the above "ps" is just another opinion from the blogger. Opposers, please don't hit the blogger with a plank or shoot a bullet through her head. Thanks! Byebye!

sorry I'm a little late.. somehow didn't see you posted something?
I love both... but for me it's suits GD more when he starts as Seme. ^^ Seungri will always be the cute, clueless maknae for me :D
Though I think it's even greater when Seungri takes over the control later and they take turns ;) :P

GD: seme
Ri: uke
People have different ideas. Some choose Ji as a uke because they say he's more feminine than Ri. Some say Ri is uke because he's cute and like doing ageyo. To me, I still choose Ji as seme and Ri as uke. They both strong, independent, and protective toward each other. But I know them long enough to see, Ji is on a different level. He can look feminine, he can cry, he can be shy toward strangers, but he's strong, mentally strong. He's also very protective of Seungri, and we all know about his possessiveness. He maybe a bit feminine to others, but when it comes to Ri, he acts like a man in the relationship. He takes care of Ri and tells others to do that for him when he's away. He sent him long message after his solo stage, he comes to Ri signing event, etc. Meanwhile, Ri looks more manly than Ji. He's strong too, but on a lower level. Ri is sensitive and vulnerable, but he shows people that he's strong. However, his weak side appears when he's beside Ji. Remember the boy crying for 20 minutes when Ji had scandal? The dominant won't cry in front of his lover. They have pride. I tend to analyze deeper about all aspect of GRI then make my decision on seme and uke, not just based on their outlook or characteristics. It's about their behavior when they're TOGETHER decide they're seme or uke, not by appearance or personality
