My Stance on Bom and Kemy's recent controversy!

Background Information

For the people who have not read or heard about this controversy through SNS and various articles, Here is what happened: Kemy who is a member of a rookie group known as A.KOR, recorded a rap about Park Bom which has a negative connotation because she directly referred to her as being a fake idol who is drugged up and has undergone an extreme plastic surgery procedures to become famous. While YG entertainment stayed silent on this issue (suggestively because they are so busy dealing with other issues that they don't want to make a big deal out of this), Kemy's company responded that she wanted to have a "friendly" competition with park Bom (?) and emphasized that Kemy is ONLY 15 years old.

The Problem with A.KOR’s Agency

First of all, the company didn't need to give such a valueless response because really, who care that Kemy is 15 years old! i am close to that age but that does not mean that my parents would ever use my age as an excuse to the mistakes that i make, so the company failed to cover up such a sensitive controversy by using excuses; the company in away at protecting their artists by actually not giving a logical response. Plus, as many of the fans believe, the company's response was nothing other than BULL. because no one in the kpop world actually takes the challenge to have a "friendly" competition especially with a rookie that no one knows. i mean really, how can Park Bom even rap back when she basically knows nothing about Kemy? it is also very significant to point out that when we say a "friendly competition" we are referring to a competition that both sides have agreed to do, so in this case the rap really can't actually be considered as a competition. As a result, i totally agree with fans who feel upset with this company for basically BS-ing a report out of no where.

The Real Problem

As for Kemy and her response, i have no way of defending her because what she did was RUDE and unfortunately, you can cover up anything but a rude action. it's not just because she is a rookie artists; any other idol no matter in which part of the world they live in cannot get away with a controversy about their rude action toward something/someone. the reason is because rudeness has limits, meaning that either your were rude or you were, so we can't say she was 60% rude and 10% nice, or else we would just sound funny? What stunned me about this issue is that it happened in KPOP...like OMG? i wouldn't have felt nearly as shock if we were talking about an american idol, but when it comes to kpop culture, someone dissing a senior is as if they have commit a murder. seriously throughout the years of knowing kpop, this is the first time that i have seen a direct rudeness; therefore, i understand why many fans were upset about this issue and expressed it through rapping back to her and creating messages.

Overall My Personal Thoughts

However, here's where i have a different stance than majority of fans out there. you know...i get it, she make a mistake and due to it she received a negative responce, but when it is really gonna end? somehow i feel like people are taking the issue way too far because it's okay to respond back rudely to her, but it absolutely not okay to swear at her using very offensive words such as MotherF*****. this action is known as verbal abuse and even if it wasn't, still it's immoral! if people are saying that Kemy would eventually get oppressed by the Karma that comes after her, then why do they bother to curse at her so much?!?! this is just NOT right. And come on...it's not like we are all angels and she is the only one who was rude. think of it, we have all at least once acted incorrectly and learn from it, so why can't people just not make the same mistake as her and just think before they make blog posts?

i know that people are acting so fiercely on the internet because they feel sad about how someone is trying to bring their queen, Park Bom down...Hell Ya! even i feel that way because she is my bias, but when i think deep about it, i feel that even Bom wouldn't want this issue to go further than how it is. Bom has gone through so much because of anti-fans that now she really really really needs some rest from this hell, so it's better if everybody just try to calm the situation for the good of both Bom and Kemy.

 THESE ARE NOT OKAY!

The Source of my Anger

Finally, to me it seems that Media is at false when it comes to this controversy. seriously, do we really need 1000 articles about: the rap Kemy made, Park Bom’s fans, Yg entertainment not responding, A.KOR’s company reporting, and etc.? for some reasons i feel like reporters are taking a huge advantage of this issue to get more viewers because they have contributed so much on expanding this issue by constantly making article :/  i hope these people would realize how harmful their writings are toward both sides!

I'm going to borrow a quote from one of my favorite movies:

"Look. You've made your bed. I
just hope for your sake, you
cleaned the sheets."

If you are willing to write a freestyle about someone you don't know simply for a contest, then you should be willing to face the consequences death threats and all. Its a plea for increased popularity and now that she had it, she can kiss her group's career goodbye. It's both her fault and the company's for even submitting it for a contest.

I am not a fan of Park Bom but it was honestly justified. Kemy hated on Bom and now she's getting it back x 3.

I completely agree with you! I tried to say this once, but someone ignored me and still called Kemy a . I'm a rather laid back blackjack and I try to find the good in everything (even Kemy and A.Kor), but when I did, I got yelled at by other Blackjacks who called me a 'Fake blackjack'... I hate this whole situation and I wish it would stop.
