So I'm like a month late but I finally got to listen to Taeyang's new album. He's still winning charts a month later. I'm so proud of my Youngbae Oppa!!

Before I go on, I want to say that YG's albums are always full of amazing music. Crush was daebak. Coup De Etat was daebak. Rise was daebak. They put so much effort into their groups. Mad props to them!!

After listening to the whole album over and over I've concluded that my favorite song is "1AM." I saw the music video a couple days ago and I fell in love with the song. Not because of Taeyang's shirtless makeout session with some lucky b*tch but because it makes me wanna smile and get up and dance. Almost like Ringa Linga but more Taeyang-like and less GD-like. I replayed the song and MV over and over~

Missing the favorite title by just a little bit is "Stay with me." I realized that I'd put this song first just because GD is in it. I don't want to be GD biased with a YB album. But I really love this song. I have a feeling this is more about the brotherhood bond between GTae rather than between him and some girl. I mean those two have been buddies for so long. They are like Yin and Yang.

"Eyes, Nose, Lips" is my third favorite. I'm not even a fan of ballads most of the time but when songs like this come along you have to love it. His voice is lovely~ And tied with that song is last year's hit "Ringa Linga." This song came as a shock to those who were expecting something closer to Wedding Dress or I need a girl. I was raising an eye at first too but I ended up loving it after the first listen. The choreo for this song is incredible. Not only is Taeyang a great singer and gorgeous without a shirt, but he can dance like no other. I admire people like that who defy the Kpop standards.

"Love you to Death" is a song I'll love to death. This is my favorite non-title non-promoted song. So in a way, this is my favorite song off the album.. The end of the song is daebak. Is that CL or Dara singing?? I can't tell.

Time to circle back around with the second ballad of the album "This isn't it. Didn't mean it." What a long title. It's not as catchy as E,N,L but his vocals sound clearer in ths song. To be honest I didn't really like "Throw Away" when I first heard it. But as I keep listening to it, it's starting to grow on me. I love the choir(??) adlibs. It makes it sound really beautiful.

My second non-title non-promoted song is "Body." If there's a song to raise your self confidence in 3 minutes this it. This is the perfect song to motivate me to work out. Goal: a body like Taeyang's. You will NEVER hear "Put a shirt on" come out of this V.I.P's mouth. EVER.

The "Rise" intro thing was cool too ^o^

All in all, I loved the album. Unlike some albums I listened to the songs were quality and flowed together well. They weren't just thrown together any kind of way. His voice is pure heaven.

On that note, I hope Big Bang has a comeback before they enlists. Solos are great but nothing beats OTP5. C'mon YG it's been like 3 years.
