Hey, all!

So, it's been a while since I've made this decision, but I decided to let you all know beforehand so that you aren't met by surprises.

I WILL BE REPOSTING "TRUE NIGHTMARES."

Yes, you read right. I will be reposting the story that I so longed to get rid of nearly a year ago. (*See PLEASE READ!!!: Readers of "True Nightmares" for more information.)

Why, you ask?

I'm glad you asked.

I pulled that story off the site for a specific reason. Simply put, I was hurt. I was hurt that all of my hard work (19 chapters, 124 pages) was met with disinterest. Although it was my most-viewed story, it had the least amount of faithful readers. How do I know? No one commented on the last few updates.

As I mentioned on PLEASE READ!!!: Readers of "True Nightmares", I understand that it wasn't my most popular story and I was and am not even in a position to call my stories popular in the first place. I repeat: I'm not an author who seeks fame, but I am an author who depends on her readers to express an interest in the story. As we all know, most AFF-ers on this site could care less about the amount of views on his or her story or the amount of subscribers or upvotes he or she receives as a result of the views. We care more, the most, about readers who want to read our stories and comments are a great way for authors to gauge who is interested and who isn't.

Needless to say, I've reflected about reposting this story for two reasons:

1) Who cares what people think about my story? I write for myself and for the people who like my stories. It's not like I'm an award-winning author. I'm an aspiring writer who has been on this site for almost three years, for goodness sakes. I should be given the opportunity to grieve for my own stories, then repost them when I'm ready.

2) Nineteen chapters and 124 pages are really a shame to throw away. It's hard work in a nut shell. And not to mention, time that I truly canNOT replace.

Anyway, I hope that you all support my decision to repost this story. :)

I must warn you all; there will be a few changes to the story. The changes will include: reformatting the foreword, changing the ages of the characters (since they are quite older than they are in the story, now), shifting the tone of the story (just a bit), and improving the writing style of the story.
