Edited: Illegal?

So I was wondering if typing the whole divergent book here in aff or any other site, would it be illegal? like. Of course full credits to Veronica Roth the author. Somehow just like sharing the book to people around the world? is that illegal? If it isn't, I'm really planning on doing so~ I hope no one would steal this idea though XD.

Of course it is, you're contributing to piracy by doing so. Instead of supporting Veronica Roth, you're doing the opposite. Recommend the book to others but tell them to buy it instead, otherwise it's plagiarism no matter if you give credit to the author or not.

I think it is, I mean it's plagiarism and all but I checked the fan fiction and it doesn't start how it started in the book.
But still, I think it's wrong -- unless the writer changes some (by some at least half or more than half) events then it's fine :)

Yes, because you don't have the legal right to share the entire book. Short excerpts in the context of a review or recommendation are fine, but an entire book is illegal.
