[Poll Closed] Results/ Poster/ Extract...

Okay guys, you can stop voting now. I’ve made up my mind. Thanks to all participants :)

But first of all, I have to say you guys are completely unpredictable (you’ve had me on the edge of my seat). I think all of them have won at least once before a new member took the winner’s place. At first, it was Tao, he had like 50% of the votes and I started writing the first chapter and keeping him in mind (but I have to say it didn’t really fit that much in my mind (I’m glad it’s changed to the current winner, though Tao is my Exo-M Bias). Kai was on Tao’s heels and he actually won for the next fifteen minutes, but the percentage was changing lots because then Lay and Sehun started to have enormous votes. I was like WOAH!! I honestly thought Sehun had a slim chance to zero but he actually rose on top, and held a tie with Lay which in all honesty had been the exact character I had in mind (and I kept him at the end on purpose, so that I don’t influence you guys, but lol).... Anyway, I’m adding my vote which makes LAY the WINNER! YAY!!!

Here’s the poster, please tell me what do you think. I can still request from a shop, but I thought I’d try and make one myself *shy face*

If you want to subscribe now, I’ll give you a link. But like I said, I will update once I’ve finished the story whole. I actually might compress it into one long chapter, or upload a doc. or pdf version of it if it’s not to long. (Comment your prefernce guys, and tell me sooner if you want me to cut it into chunks and chapters, so that I don’t run on...)

Now here’s an extract (it’s just a little something):

Description:

Assassin and Leopard shifter Kwon Jiyong had no frigging clue why it was demanded of him, leader of the subpack of the Leos, to go on a mission like that personally. Much less why Jiyong had to go alone, without his fellow assassins. He did not understand why his great grandfather had requested this specifically, but he figured he would play nice and do as he is ordered. It didn’t mean he had to like it, though. Straying away from the pack usually pissed him off. But this was a mission, and Jiyong took his work seriously. The last thing he expected, though, was to be followed by young Lay, a cub who had an obvious crush on him. Jiyong thought that if he ignored Lay, the cub would go back to the pack’s safe house. This is not exactly what happens…

Kwon Jiyong didn’t like surprises. In fact, he hated them with a passion.

The last time his family tried to throw him a surprise birthday party, he had ended up punching one of his siblings, Suho. Jiyong didn’t feel bad for squaring that punch. He never apologized for it either, which then led to a huge caking of bad blood between the two brothers.

At the family gathering, Jiyong quickly scanned the court for his younger brother. He noticed Suho sitting next to the Jung sisters, Jessica and Krystal, looking at him with a sharp eye. Whenever Jiyong was present, Suho felt like strangling him, but being a younger male who’s practically dominated by every older male, Suho was not given a chance to act on it. He just sat there with an attitude, and shot Jiyong his best hateful look.

This family gathering , for all Suho cared, and he really wished to go back to the city and carry on with his normal life away from the pack. He wasn’t the alpha anyway, nor was he any of the assassins. He wondered why his grandfather had asked for a second gathering when it hadn’t even been a year since the last one—leopards rarely ever gathered, it took then decades to call out for a reunion.

It was a good thing though this year’s reunion was not in winter. Summer was better than winter on all levels, anyway. It was warmer which made it easier to hunt. It was known as the season for mating despite the touchy tempers of leopards and leopardesses. While they liked to believe that it wasn’t a hormonal thing, and that the heat of the weather is what made them hornier and more possessive, leopards fought like crazy. But Pa, the Leos great grandfather, made sure they kept track of their urbane etiquette as much as they could.

Pa continued to observe the nasty glares and grouchy snarls shared between the two brothers. Apparently, there was a lot of bitterness going on between the two, and Pa didn’t want this among his family. It’s best for Suho and Jiyong to make peace, he thought, otherwise; the two of them would have to avoid each other during the potential of early mating cycles. One of them might even skip mating altogether, in order for this cycle to go on smoothly.

By just looking at the brothers, Pa knew that peace was not a valid option. Perhaps sending one of them away would work, he thought.

“Jiyong or Suho?” Pa muttered under his breath, somewhat struggling to make a choice. Jiyong turned at the feeling of being watched. Pa glanced at him, not surprised to find Jiyong scowling at a teen cub who seemed interested in him. Jiyong tended to scowl a lot, nobody’s going to want to mate with him, not even that cub, though Pa. He figured perhaps Jiyong should be the one sent away. The family had important tasks for Jiyong, Pa was sure the other wouldn’t mind finishing that work while all other sixty-two of them or however many there are now mated.

Jiyong was really crazy about his job, though it might not appeal to a casual shifter, being an assassin was all that Jiyong ever wanted. After all, he really was a man with temper, and taking out bad people seemed like the best way to express his fury with dignity.

“Such a large number of cubs are here today!” Pa noted cheerfully, his mind already made up on his final decision. “Would their parents care to introduce them to me and everyone else properly, please?”

“I will do it.” Jung Yunho, leader of the entire pack of Leo’s volenteered with a smile that looked genuine. He stood up and ushered all youngsters to the middle of the court, stopping just to count them as they seemed to increase as they gushed down to the center of the room.

Yunho was really impressed to find out that the number of cubs had tripled since the day the pack had officially formed, which was about fifteen years ago, approximately. “Woah, we’ve got so many twins, father,” Yunho commented as he patted the heads of two male Leos, and then gestured to another set of female Leos with big hazel eyes, and then another boy and a girl.

“Oh, wow. What are your names dearests?” Pa said sweetly.

The cute girls stepped out, bowing first before introducing themselves as Chaerin and Haerin, offspring of the Lees. The second pair consisted of two males, they also bowed and then introduced themselves confidentially, and they seemed to be prepared for this moment because they certainly spoke in absolute unison. “Hello Pa, we are Taemin and Jongin. We’re eighteen years old, and we are extremely happy to finally be able to join the court gathering as adults,” they bowed again, and then the light-skinned started to speak, the vibe of unison tonning down considerably as he spoke on his and his brother’s behalf.

“We are looking forward for the mating ceremony, Pa. Hopefully, me and Jongin would find partners to mate with too, even though we’re nearly inseparable.” Jongin nodded, and looped an arm around his brother’s waist, confirming it with a yet confident smile. Pa had to laugh out loud at that.

“Okay fellow, I think we’ve found the first mates of the year, then. C’mon, who’s next? Introduce yourself, young one.” He gestured to the confused young man who had been sneaking glances at Jiyong for a long while now. Pa had adored his crush on the alleviated assassin, but he kind of wished the young man would find someone else who would treat him royally. He smiled and nodded for the teen to speak.

“Zhang Yixing, but everyone calls me Lay. I’m nineteen. I am the only child of the Zhangs. My mom and dad are out of the city and they asked me to deliver their apologies,” the cub said shyly, glancing at Pa for heartbeat before shifting his gaze back to the tiled floor.

“The Zhangs,” Pa hummed. “Good genes I see, I’m sure you’ll find a mate in a blink of an eye. Tell me, Lay, are you a dual?”

The instant these words were blurted out, Lay’s eyes shot up in horror and his flesh seemed to have caught a sudden fever. His pale eyes wandered at his crush, who sat arrogantly at the front raw smirking as if he knew the answer to Pa’s question.

Lay coughed to find his voice and nodded. He bowed a little, glad his shaggy hair covered up his eyes and most of his face. He’d been told to get a haircut since hitting puberty, but he never did because it shielded him from Jiyong; especially, at an embarrassing time like this.

“Both of my parents are hybrids, and my mother is a dual. She told me, I can get pregnant if my mate turned out to be a dominant. She also said I can impregnate females and other duals in case my mate was a submissive. So, I am fit for both categories, Pa.”

“Excellent!” Pa stressed, beaming. “I like the evolution of hybrids. How many more duals have we got here?” His eyes twinkled…

I am SO going to read this!!!
Chapters might be good for this, but then again just one long chapter would be nice - no waiting. Maybe the 'best' of both worlds and it can be a two-shot? I know that doesn't help much, but I don't really like telling authors what to do... *shrugs*

Ooooooh Lay! I guess he's my EXO bias...it changes too much, but Lay seems to come out on top most often. I guess it's because he's so androgynously attractive. I swear sometimes he looks really handsome and masculine features, but then other times he looks really cute and soft and feminine. He just ultimately blows my mind. Not that many idols can do that to me.

The plot is so interesting and a bit more complex that I think it should be a chaptered fic.
