Putting "POV"

I have this sort of book club wherein we exchange reading stories and give useful comments and constructive criticisms. There are some who only writes "nice story, keep it up" and really, what's useful with that? Fortunately, I always get paired with people who aren't one-liners. But that's not what I'm yapping about.

HERE'S THE DEAL:

I've received (sort of) same comments from 3 of them already.
It goes with the line, "You should put whose POV it is so that readers won't get confused."

I don't exactly know what to feel. I somehow considered taking up the advice but I need justification first and so I consulted my writing buddy and she raised her eyebrow after I told her this.

"Haven't they been reading the story? I mean, for real? I don't see what made them say that. When you first made me read it, I've had no problem. WHAT. IS. THEIR. PROBLEM?"

I've always wondered whether she is
sugarcoating her commentaries
but her punches proves me wrong though,
especially when giddy scenes are up.
So I think she must be honest.
Sorry for doubting you, my friend <3

And so I strayed from the topic again -__-

I just don't get it.
Is it really necessary to put whose POV it is when it had been one character's POV all along?

Like, isn't that redundancy or... perhaps idiocracy?

Never put POV (and transition sub titles like "Later that day"). I made that mistake once and I have learned. It makes one's work look tacky and unprofessional if they do. Now I'm not saying AFF fic is supposed to be professional, but it should be treated like it is. I mean, it is a place to "publish" stories. And, if it's one POV then of course you wouldn't put that. That's stupid and redundant. If the reader doesn't know what POV your story is in, then they should reread. For switching character though, not first person POV, then state that by the chapter title. If you've read Rick Riordan books, in Heroes of Olympus, he indicated what character he's narrating by titling the chapter. Makes sense, right?

I don't think it's necessary either. if you change from one character's pov to another character's pov, it should be pretty obvious anyway.

I don't really think it's necessary since it's consistent. That's just my opinion though :)
