05/01 Updates + Retirement

Hello everyone!
 
It's been a while since the last update, but fortunately, I'm still alive and well after working 12+ hours a day, 7 days a week for the past month. \o/ The karaoke session (and those four drinks) last night have revitalized me after the stress and exhaustion of busy season, which is why I finally decided to give an update the state of my affairs here on AFF. 
 
I mentioned this in the last update of "Exposed" but working full-time again has really opened my eyes about how I spend my time. I've wasted many hours participating in fandom rather than using them for important things like studying, and now that my GPA is in jeopardy, I feel like it's time to get my together and start acting my age. It's why I've shut down my Tumblr and have avoided replying to comments/PMs on AFF. Plus my overall interest in kpop has been waning so I feel like I'll just be a party pooper since I'm so apathetic about the subject :S 
 
That being said, I do plan on finishing up "Exposed" and hope to post an update some time within the next week or so. However, I don't plan on completing any other unfinished stories and will no longer be active on this site. Knowing me, I'll probably pop in from time to time (because I still enjoy reading comments!) but I'm serious about the decision and plan on staying in fandom retirement for good.
 
If, for some strange reason, you'd still like to stay in touch and don't mind talking about other things like cute hockey players, brotp feels, random shows/movies/animes or why life , you can reach me on Twitter @maunnier. The account is locked because I'm paranoid someone IRL will find it and I will die of embarrassment if anyone outside fandom ever discovers its contents...This honestly isn't a ploy to gain followers, but I've decided it'll be the only link to fandom I'll maintain so apologies for the inconvenience n-n;;
 
And while this isn't an official goodbye, I do want to thank you all again for the support and feedback over the last three years. It's been one hell of a ride and I'm grateful to you all for coming along. ;u;
 
TL;DR: I do plan on tying up loose ends in "Exposed" but I'm done with EXO/AFF/fandom in general and you're welcome to keep in touch here.

Firstly, I would like to say I discovered your story Exposed in the recommended page. All of the chapters made me laugh and brough my mood. I really wanted to finish reading Exposed, but you already have a fandom retirement :( I hope you are successful in life and your studies. If you are ever coming back (probably not) please tell me, I'm a fan of you. I'm reading the first chap of This is not what Beethoven had in Mind. Bye~

Thanks for giving us stories like "Exposed" and "This is not what Beethoven had in mind"! You're such a great writer, I hope you will continue writing even if it doesn't involve anything kpop related. I will miss you!

I love your stories especially 'Exposed' and 'this is not what beethoven had in mind' and to me you're such a great author. it's a loss that you're retiring but I hope you'll do well in your studies and life <3

I hope you can get your GPA up and everything works out the way you plan. I just hope you don't over work yourself. Take care of your grades and your health!
