She’s cautious, but likes to try new things. Ella’s okay with trying a new food, but it’s different than going bungee jumping. She leads a calm life and doesn’t really need too much adventure in it. She prefers a calm and serene life over a dangerous and thrilling one.  Some of her more outgoing friends drag her out on ‘adventures’ often.

She likes to garden and has no problem with bugs or spiders. Usually her friends ask her to take a spider outside. If she’s gardening and she finds a worm she’ll just work around it and maybe study it. Ella doesn’t mind dirt or mud as much. She loves rainy days because her friends and her used to dance in the rain. 

Ella can hold a grudge for a long time. If you break her trust, there’s no getting it back. She doesn’t forgive people easily and coupled with her sensitive trait, you have to be very careful around her. She procrastinates a lot and ends up getting a lot of stuff not done. When her parents ask her to do something, usually she’ll just not do it and end up having to do it quickly right before the deadline. She isn’t a perfectionist and settles for less than average if she has to. She has a tendency to beat around the bush when she asks for something, which annoys the heck out of people. If she wants something then she uses flattery.  She wants to become more independent because she’s really clingy and jumps to conclusions easily, which gets her into a lot of trouble. She doesn’t get along with guys very well.

Background :She was born in summer in Toronto. Her father was working as a professor at the University of Toronto, and mother was a manager of an engineering company.  Her mother specifically raised her to become a strong woman because she is very feminist. She started ballet when she was eight,  a year after she started figure skating.  After her uncle died when she was ten, they moved to Seoul, because his family needed help. She was really unhappy because she left behind her friends and hardly knew the language. She was kind of resentful towards her uncle’s family because of that. Eventually she became closer with her cousins because they stood up for her at school and taught her Korean.

She’s very close with her family. One day her older and younger cousin took her to the park when she was thirteen. While she sat on a bench reading, her older cousin pushed Ella’s younger sister on the swings. An SM representative asked her if she wanted to audition. She didn’t know what she was talking about, so she accepted. Her cousin was really excited and wanted to audition as well. She went with her cousin to audition. They were rejected. The next year, while she was practicing with Misun (her cousin) she realized that this is what she wanted – to be a star and have people scream her name while she was onstage. She worked hard that year, but was rejected. She auditioned the next year. Rejected. While she was ready to give up, Misun convinced her do one last year. That year Ella was accepted but Misun wasn’t. Misun was heartbroken and stopped singing completely. Ella and Misun had a compromised relationship after that, but she kept on working for her dream. She trained hard for four years and two months.  Her trainee days were rough, but she had her friends to get her through it.

Style : Ella has a typical girly style. She likes wearing dresses and skirts because it feels freer to her.  She always takes a cardigan or sweater with her just to be careful. She likes to wear bright colours that stand out, or colours that match her mood (example, blue for sad bright pink excited, etc.) She always wear her signature silver necklace that says  가족 (family). Necklace Misun has a matching one that they got the first time they auditioned. Ella has a particular liking for denim (jean jackets, white denim, denim shorts). Personality :; Almost the exact opposite of her ideal type. Instead of someone cute and innocent, she ended up with a diva. Key is a fashionista, diva, and umma all at once. He takes care of s and nags a lot. He’s the ‘umma’ of his group and cooks for them. Key also excels at girl group dances. He has a fiery temper and tends to reveal a lot of SHINee’s secrets. Despite nagging a lot, he’s a caring person who is honest – very honest. He’s outgoing and isn’t afraid to make friends or talk to strangers. Although his aegyo isn’t as common as, say, Taemin’s he still uses it when he wants to. He has sudden mood swings, and always gets revenge.
