I’m sure you all are curious after that last blog post, right? So the question was… Did he contact her or what? The answer is… (wait for it) YES!!!!!

Well leading up to when I gave it to him, there was that question weighing in the back of everyone’s mind. Would he contact her? Even I was paranoid and I wasn’t the one who gave him my number! Not gonna lie though, he was a very cute guy but he seemed more interested in my sister. And I’m not that kind of person… And come to think of it, my mom has a bigger crush on him than all of us! I mean, every time we get the car serviced, he would often help us and she would grin like a giddy school girl and would say in her heavily accented English: “You cute!” HAHAHAHAHA

Much to our embarrassment, my sister and I would mentally face-palm ourselves. And the guy would just chuckle in return, simply flattered at my mom’s compliment. At least he wasn’t awkward about it. I mean when I handed him the note, he didn’t seem too weirded out about it. Furthermore, he seemed more touched than anything. So we can just all narrow this down to the fact that he seems like an okay guy. He’s really nice which is a positive.

Going on, after what happened, my sister was basically feeling anxious because of the waiting game. Ah, the waiting game… That’s just how it simply works. How many of you have heard of the 3-day rule? I’m sure you all know it.

Now, I’ve known about the 3-day rule since middle school, when I was a clueless kid without the faintest clue about dating. Growing up, I had to see my older sister go through her first long term relationship and then breaking up. Not long after that, she started dating around and has met a few guys even giving them her number and of course she tells us about the 3 day rule. The 3 day rule is the waiting period in which you find out whether that person is interested in you or… not. Simply put, if the guy (or girl) gets in touch with you within the first 3 days, then he/she is interested (which is not always the case but it’s still worth a shot). However, if it’s past the 3 day mark, then you can just simply accept the fact and then move on. Unfortunate, I know but that’s how it is. Believe me, I had to learn the hard way (more on that later on XD).

That being said, I had to tell my sister about the 3 day rule. Despite being in 3 relationships herself, I would assume she’d know about the rule but clearly, she didn’t. Nor has she even been in that kind of position before. So the first day, she panicked and kept overthinking and overanalyzing. Simply put, that’s what girls tend to do when it comes to our interest in guys. Don’t deny it, ladies! We’ve all been there! XD I know I have.

Despite her initial paranoia, once Day 2 came… HE FINALLY GOT IN TOUCH WITH HER! And, as it turned out, he’s always found her attractive too! Imagine the excitement I felt when she told me, I mean she even allowed me to read the messages! I’m so happy for her! Now, I hope this all works out for her because she deserves so much better than that last guy and this guy is simply a 10 in terms of the looks department so I hope she doesn’t let this one go. I mean my mom still approves of him. Only because she has a crush on him lol. She even refers to him as son-in-law for crying out loud! It’s still too soon for anything since they’ve just exchanged text messages and he did suggest they hang out sometime.

I told my sister that if it all works out, then he should introduce me to some of his cute friends, if he has any of course! I mean, hello? If I could break the ice for my sister, then she could do the same for me! XD

Which reminds me, my mom and sister were at that same shop today and my sister was hiding the whole time while my mother was looking around for him. I mean, she even had the audacity to ask: “Where’s my son-in-law today?” (In her native language, of course! XD) I even asked if she saw him and she said no, with her head down lol. Aw, she seemed a bit bummed to not see him lol.

That being said, I should start my own ice breaking business… I could make so much money! XD HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Just kidding! That’s impossible
