ELF Feels- Five steps to conquer a horrid day

Anneyeong-haseyo Chingu-ah's,

Wow, it's been a while since I've greeted anyone like that, to be frank...I missed it.

A lot of us writers, that are in college, barely get time to breathe, even such gratifying things as writing our stories and posting updates, there is no time.

It feels to me ,these days, that I am in writer's block or that I have no concentration, but today, is Tuesday.

Normally , I find this one particular day in the week, my worst. Today, I wanna an example of this day. This is the day, that I strive to make the most positive off.

Now I have a boyfriend, 4 months and we're going strong, but it seems I have no time to juggle writing/school/personaltime/assignments/work.

Well I wanna start with making positive out of the most negative day I have. I am going too. To me, having your period/menstrual cycle and having to deal with that pain, on top of that, a rather horrid day, the most ish thing to deal with.

So my fellow ELF's....if you are having a hard time in college this semester, and you seem like you can't write. Take a deep breathe.

Let's transform this horrid week...or even a horrid day.

I have devised Five Steps to get rid of a horrid day.

1)  Music- The most positive in your playlist. A happy music induced mind, has your thoughts in pace, but it has you in a state of calm, and makes you want to dance.

2) Food/Drink- Don't skip any meals , your breakfast is the starting pointing, even if it's a fruit or a fruit bar, eat something. Remember to hydrate consistently, and having the morning cuppa in between breakfast and lunch, should help you remain in a state of 'Zen.'

3) Positive People- Having happy and funny friends around you should make your day stay positive, find those friends, hug them, converse with them, talk to them about the most random topics you could think off, just remember to talk to someone who can make you stay positive within the day.

4) A good book- For all of us on this site, the first thing we ever did on here, was to read, so I propose reading a book of something that interests you. It should help stimulate those happy thoughts, keep your mind working , add in a little revision of your school work to keep everything in track.

5) Lastly....Smile- It takes less muscles to smile, you should start your day by thanking god for the opportunity to do so, and just smile, if not for yourself, then for someone else as, your smile can make someone else's day brighter and better.

Ironically, we tell people all this advice and forget to take it, but for once, let's do and get it done. No more slacking, I know my fellow writers on this site would love to update their stories, but we keep having all these problems and no time, it's our own partial fault that we let things esculate this far. So good luck all.

With love,

An ELF.
