No offense to Simon and Martina (I love their videos as much as the next kpopper), but this whole requesting fanfics to be mentioned in one of their next videos seems kind of ridiculous to me. I never pictured those two to even be interested in fanfiction It just seems like this whole thing is getting a lot of authors riled up. I've seen SO many livejournal accounts just go on lock down and people getting upset about their stories being shared without their consent. And EYK did mention they wouldn't take stories without the authors consent but c'mon now...someone is still going to send it without consent.With that said, I think this whole thing is just making unecessary inconvience for a lot of fanfic readers and writers. I wanted to read some stories today on livejournal and saw a lot of accounts deleted...that's just upseting. Bottom line: don't send a story without asking the author first.
