It’s not easy being a single parent raising two daughters all alone but my mom manages with the help of the money that she gets with the rent and her job as a hardworking landscaper.

After our tenant vandalized and left my home, my mom had no choice but to renovate the 1st floor. After encountering numerous problems after problems that needs to be fixed, my mom needs help.

Fixing the first floor is becoming very expensive and we don’t have enough money to pay for the repairs. If we don’t fix it soon we won’t have enough money to pay the taxes and there’s a high chance that we’ll lose our home.

'Why don't you get a job?' You guys might be wondering… well no one is exactly willing to hire a high school graduate with no experience sadly.

My 65 year old grandma has to work 7 days a week from 6am to 9pm just to bring $500 to support my family and that’s barely enough to cover the essentials. My mom is a strong and independent woman whose always smiling and helping others. I’ve never seen her cry so much and look so defeated in my life. Seeing her this way breaks my heart. So please help her. Help us.
