U-KISS Concert in NYC!

OHMYGOODNESS.
This concert was seriously such an amazing time.

First of all, the plan was to leave on Wednesday to get there a day early, but since we had the huge snow storm happening, roads were closed and as of that time the train was not running. I was super sad about it, but we ended up rescheduling our train for Thursday morning. The trip there was pretty comfortable and I couldn't even sleep because I was way too excited for the concert. We ended up getting to NYC at around 4:40pm and headed straight for the hotel. (By the way, this was our first time in NYC.) We took a cab to the hotel and got all checked in before proceeding to make our way to the Best Buy Theater.

I had originally tried for the VIP and photo opportunity tickets, but didn't manage to get them. Then I find out on the train ride there, that powerhouse was giving a high touch event to the first 200 $100 ticket holders in line. I was so mad because if we would have gotten there the day before, I would have been in line super early. But I was just excited that I was even going at this point.

The line ended up being pretty long, but once it started moving, it went super fast. They didn't even really check anything, they just scanned your tickets and let you go on your way. I was expecting to not be able to get a good spot to see anything because that's always my luck at concerts. Since I'm so short, I always end up sitting behind some tall person and they block my view. We actually ended up getting in the front on the second floor with the raised platform so I could see very well.

They ended up teasing us with like... three songs before they even ended up coming out, and when they did, oh boy. I honestly didn't know what to do with myself. I wanted to cry because when I saw them, they were perfect. I thought, 'Wow, I'm actually seeing them in person. I'm not just sitting behind my computer screen.' It was really amazing. The boys were all super sweet and were so nervous that Kevin, Eli, and AJ had cue cards, although they didn't end up using them very much. I think all of the screams and love that they felt really helped them to be less nervous. Soohyun, Hoon, and Kiseop had the most adorable English and they were asked how they were feeling and Soohyun decided to answer with a body roll and the words, "So feel good!" It was so CUTE. And Hoon was all like seeing us in person, "Kiss Me's are so HOT." It was hilarous. Kiseop seemed so cute, shy and adorable!

The show went on with them answering some questions, more songs, and more talking. At one point when they were talking, Kevin started crying because he was so overwhelmed and just happy with everything. It brought tears to my eyes. He is seriously such a sweetheart and it makes me love him even more than I did before. And to make the mood lighter, I think it was Soohyun, decided to say in English, "Stupid Kevin." It was so adorable and it made Kevin (and everyone else) laugh.
During AJ and Kiseop's Obsession stage, they ended up going off the stage and in the front row with the fans (LUCKY.), which everyone also did at the end, and the boys gave so much fanservice the whole night. It was amazing.<3

I cannot wait until they come back again. I'm holding onto Kevin's words that they will be back.

The boys were all so sweet and Kevin made sure to always acknowledge everyone by constantly mentioning all of the fans in the seats in the back, and those on the second little floor thing. Ugh, SUCH A SWEETHEART. Also, at one point, Kevin had mentioned that Soohyun almost cried before they even came on stage because during the first three songs that teased us, we all sang along super loud, and they could hear us backstage.

While in line, everyone was given a pink balloon that we were all supposed to blow up before their last song, Man Man Ha Ni (which the boys didn't know about). When we blew them up, the boys were all surprised and I think really touched because Kevin had said that they see all of the balloons and were wondering if it was a fan idea thing and he was so happy. Then he asked when we all did it. Honestly, I think they were so touched and happy with such an amazing reaction and such love from the fans for their first stop of the concert.

I felt incredibly honored and happy for them to be there cheering them on for their first stop on their first US tour! I think all of the fans really showed their love for them and gave them a night that they will never forget.<3 And all of the Kiss Me's were so incredibly well-behaved. No one pushed anybody and it someone did get stepped on, there was an apology right away. Kiss Me's are so respectful of others, while still able to show their love for the boys.

This was seriously one of the best concerts I have ever been to and I will be going again when they come back to the states. It was an incredibly experience and I loved every second of it.

As of right now, I am still going through post-concert depression and it . :( But, I know they'll be back sooner than it'll seem and I'll be right there again, cheering them on every step of the way.

I am proud to be a Kiss Me.<3

Awww<3 See I live a town up from nyc and was so glad to hear they where having a stage and at the time I had just found out about them 3 months prior. I was so scared to ask my mom for tickets lol and was right there when they had first began selling tickets at 4:30 and she wasnt home at the time anyway. But that day when the time came I asked my cousin if she could take me there to see them after the concert ended, and we went and shes 20. Which I appreciate so much because my mom would never stand in the freezing cold for half an hour just for me to catch a glimpse of the men ive looked up to so much, my cousin took a bus, subway and everything just for us to get there and it meant so much for me. When they came out i was ecstatic and took so many pictures and I felt like a saesang omg. When they left I just burst into tears because like you said, its weird to react to people youve spent so much time watching behind a screen than in real person and have the oppurtunity to see them its just an amazing feeling..
