There's a time whenever I cook rice, I would always keep an eye on the process (we don't use rice cooker...) because it's too delicate, you don't want it too soft or too hard. There was a time when I burnt up the rice, it tasted like carbon/coal... I ate the rice all to myself as a punishment by my parents. ahahhaha
