Why Some FF's annoy the Hell out of me.

It is so fustrating when I begin to read a story about two guys, then for some reason one become a girl.

WHY??

I understand that it's supposed to be fiction, but then why do they have to change so much? Yes there are times when gay men dress in drag and consider themselves as women, but these are men that has always seen themselves in that manner.

Like recently, I read an EunHae story to where Hyukjae loves women, but Donghae has never liked to even think of a woman as anything but a nuisance. Then ALL OF A SUDDEN, Hae gets someone pregnant and Hyuk become a MOM?????

For one, why would Donghae sleep with a woman?

Second, why because Hae has a child does Hyuk have to become the mom and get married? And why did the author have to ask if he should wear a dress???

And what pissed me off even more is when the author also said that the kid couldn't have two fathers.

REALLY?!?! This is a really low blow to families out there who ARE the same (male or female) and actually have children!

Personally, my uncles had two children and they both were called "Father". One was "Dad" and the other was "Papa Nate". When they got married there was no dress, just two good looking men in matching suits.

So please, if one of the characters of a story starts off as a man, please let them be.

I'm sorry if I have offended anyone, but for me, this has been getting annoying and it had to be said before I lost my mind....

AND NO, I DO NOT HATE THIS AUTHOR NOR DO I HATE THE STORY. IT'S JUST THAT SOME THINGS WITHIN IT JUST GOT ME WONDERING,

"WHY??"

I just don't like it when a story falls apart because of this. Like you said, people only switch the gender because having two "Fathers" or "Mothers" isn't right. It kind of goes against their thoughts on same marriage. Also That is so cute! Dad and Papa Nate :) Marriage is about equality I don't think they should be given a label or switched genders. They love each other in the end anyway!Lol So Bleh! That was Eunli's thoughts!!

There are some stories here that I read and they call one umma and the other appa, and I think it's cute - but those almost always have a reason why they are doing it! It could be a comedy/crack, or some ACTUAL reason why they're called this way!
I have a friend who has 2 moms. He doesn't call one mom and one dad! He calls him mom, "Mom" and his other, by her first name.
So yeah, things like this gets me really angry sometimes. >.<

I ask myself similar questions every day whenever I read same ships. Even for girls, they try to make one of the girls more manly because someone always has to be the more manlier person in the relationship.
