TUTORIAL; How to tag 'you' in the text content

I've been getting quite a few comments and some of my subscribers even PM-ed and walled me asking me "How did you know I was going to read this?" because I made their username appear in my story content.

It's quite amusing getting these sort of comments because not all of the AFF users are that skilled in using the HTML source soooooo I'm just going to brief how to use the 'you' tag in your text content.

Step 1: Prepare your sentence/text

Jusr write anything on your content; it can either be a sentence directed to the reader or maybe if you're writing one of those 'you' stories, then this method could be used also if you don't have yourself as the OC.

Eg:

I highlighted the 'you' but that isn't necessary for you to do because I just did that to make sure you could see where the username is supposed to go so you don't have to highlight your's either.
So this is what you should see on your normal text content.

Step 2: Going into the HTML source

This is where the real work begins.
Click your source on your upper left on the toolbar and you should see a lot of random codes.

Eg.

if you're confused with everything in there don't worry, it's normal since you only have to focus on a few things in the content. By the way, I removed the highlight so it's just 'you' now on the text.

Step 3: Putting in the 'you' tags

This step is pretty easy unless you can't identify your words on the raw HTML source. All you have to do is to put the tags; < you> < /you >

Remove the spaces when you're applying them on your raw text.

Eg.

There, I highlighted the one I put the tags in so you could see it better.

Once you put in the tags, it should work once you published the chapter but keep noted that the 'you' or the text you put in between the tags will not show your or the other username when in edit mode but will show once the chapter is published, like I said.

Step 4: Publish the chapter

All you need to do now is to publish your chapter once you're done editting the content with the < you > tags.
So it should look like this once you published the chapter;

"I'm sorry but I have to leave," she said as she stood up from the chair and started shuffling to the door before he followed suit also. "you, wait— don't go yet," said Baekhyun as he gripped on her wrist, halting her into a stop as she did not even dared to look back at him. "I know that you're disappointed in me but believe me, I was framed," he tried to reason with her but she still denied her trust for him.

Yup, it's supposed to be that way :D

Thank you for reading this and hopefully, it would help you in the future with your story since it helped me a lot ^^ if you have questions, leave them on the comments, PM me or even wall me.
