So guess what? While I was making the trailer for Reality Nightmare, (which is the kind of story that I completely adore) I remembered this wonderful wonderful story that I read once upon a time. I remembered the entire plot, all the characters, everything, EXCEPT FOR THE TITLE AND AUTHOR.

Sigh, my life.

So I was hoping, since this is a fanfic-lover community, someone here would know it.

Below, I'll type in the basic premise. (and whatever else I can regurgitate)

Main character: Park Ye Eun

Also majorly includes: 2008/2009 members of JYPE, SME, YGE, and Cube Ent.

Setting: The main country (where the main character grows up - along with the rest of JYPE, I think) is a floating land built with metal. JYP is king (yeah, you read correctly) and Sun Ye is the princess. Who later gets kidnapped. Oh! Ye Eun gets kidnapped too! Because she was pretending to be the princess. Because Sun Ye asked her to. So that she could skip some important royal event to go on a date as a normal citizen. The ones who mistakenly kidnapped Ye Eun = YGE. The ones who kidnapped Sun Ye = SME. (I think the writer included all five members of DBSK in this one). 

IMPORTANT: This had modern pirates, with floating ships. It got intense at times, (Jae Bum got shot and I think I semi-died inside when I thought that his character did), but it was generally a story of adventure. Light romance, light comedy. 100% Fantasy. It wasn't uploaded on aff, because I only found this place post-EXO (and the story is certainly pre-EXO). So probably, a fanfic forum or maybe a blog? (think winglin and wordpress. This was before 2012 guys)

Why this is niggling at me so much: The writer was amazing, she/he made me picture an entire world in my head very much like Final Fantasy but somewhat cooler (since it's my imagination after all heh).  Imagine, an entire land that looks like that place from the Golden Compass, floating in the sky. Imagine, below it, is our earth, but dirty, like it barely survived an apocalypse. And somewhere out there, across the seas is a rich forest, much like that island from Life of Pi but with more... well... life.
