Genres Clarification for AFF

Do any of you lovely people know if there is an official list of genres and their definitions used here in AFF?

Like, what is Fluff? lol I tried searching for this but there are contradicting information floating around the web and it left me with the impression that it really depends on the site.

Does anyone know where I can find information on this? Or where I should be asking a question like this instead of a blogpost? lmao

This is a list for FFnet, but genres are pretty universal, so it'll work for AFF as well.

Fluff, always depends. Generally, it means that the story is mainly filled with a lighter form of romance. It's very sweet and pure, mostly attached to young love. Romance, is a lot more mature and passionate. Sometimes, your fanfic may not fall under the category of fluff, but some chapters might. In The Games We Play, scenes with Min and Joon are often times filled with a certain kind of fluff. :)

We don't have an official list. But writing workshops have listed them, I think. Anyway, generally, fluff fics here are fics that make you feel light and warm and giddy because of light romance or young love or other sweet and adorable things in life. Ehe. That's my take on it.
