Korean class 1

Hey everyone!!!

So as some of you know I'm currently in Korea doing a university here to learn korean. Because one of my lovelies dongsaengs asked me do teach her some korean basic stuffs I taught some of you might be interested. I know that most of you will already know a lot of things because of the dramas, the songs or even because you took classes. But for those that are beginners here some stuffs to survive in Korea.^^

So to begin here are the basic letter of the Hangul:

And here the korean numbers, they have two ways of counting, the sino-korean way that comes from the chinese and the korean way. The numbers are easy to memorize but to use them it's a little bit harder because for example to tell the time you'll use the korean way to say the Hour and the sino-korean to say the Minutes. -_-" (Sorry for the pic but couldn't take a better one, if you have any questions just ask)

I put the pronounciation with the hangul version, hope it can help you guys.

And for you guys some basics sentences of presentation:

Before we start another important thing that you will learn after but important to know, as you all guys know the korean have formal ways to speak. The "inmida" at the end is really formal and "woyo" in the end is less formal but still is.

Hello my name is ..... => Annyeonghaseyo djoneun .... imnida (or) ieyo/yeyo. (if your name finish by a consonant it will be "ieyo" and a vowel "yeyo") => 안녕하세요 저는 .... 입니다 (or) 이에요/예요.

Nice to meet you (for that one you have 3 ways of saying it) => Manasso pangasumida / pangawoyo => 만나서 반갑습니다 / 반가워요. (the "manasso" at the begining is optional)

                                                                                                    Joen baekaesunmida (for a first encounter) => 처음 뵙겠습니다.

I'm ... years old. => djoneun ... (ex: seumeul han= 21) sal. => 저는 스물한 살.

I'm from .... => djoneun .... (ex: France = 프랑스) saram i inmida (or) ieyo/yeyo (means litteraly "I'm a .... person") => 저는 ..... 사람이 입니다.

the same goes to your profession you write the same sentence from above replacing the country with thte name of the job and just supressing the "saram i".

I hope it helped you guys and if you liked it I have a lot of others things that could help you!^^ So that it for today class!XD Saensaengnim logging out! <3
