BEAST DONG WOON'S FATHER

[TRANS] :: 130824 A CyWorld Post by Prof. Son Il Rak (Dong Woon's Father) ::

" Love breeds love.

BEAST has made a comeback with their 2nd full length album "Shadow" after a year and a half. It seems that oil-fellow (DongWoon) and the members had a really hard time as their hiatus period extended.

It was so bad that Oil-fellow said on the verge of tears during their comeback concert [Beautiful Show in Seoul 2013] that he couldn't fall asleep, when he is a very heavy sleeper, and also have nightmares.

"What if all the fans left us?" "What if we are already forgetten?"

Is it only Oil-fellow. It seems that the other members were also worried. If they weren't, then one of the members wouldn't have tweeted "We are already ready to come down. It's just that if we do come down, then we want to make a grand landing."

I feel that our country's music industry seems to have a faster change cycle as time goes by. There are many rookie groups that are making debuts each day. This is also on a side note, but the fans' hearts aren't like the way it used to be.

With all these situations, it is easier to understand why the boys would feel uneasy.

When I see the boys' uneasiness, I feel sad.

But what can they do? If you climb up a mountain, you'll eventually have to come back down again as this is life.

I want to tell the members. There is no reason to be worried about that fact. All we can do is to love, try, and live intensely every moment.

If reality is like this, then we have to try to adapt to it, but if you can't, then just as General MacArthur left the famous saying "Old soldiers never die, they just fade away," then just fade away. This is life.

Is it because the music industry's cycle is fast, they say that this week is already BEAST's 2nd full length album promotion's end.

There was an encouraging article that said 'BEAST who chose music over 1st place.' But it's still sad to hear of their end with only 4 weeks of promotion and their comeback after a year and a half.

But I comfort myself with the fact that if there is an end, then it is to bring forth another new start.

It seems that with their upcoming last week promotion, the members bought hamburgers for the fans who are their reason of existence as a sign of gratitude. Even though it's only one piece of hamburger, I think that their heart/action is really beautiful.

Also, their small consideration in choosing orange juice over soda because it is healthier also touches my heart.

Another thing, people say that one of the worst part-time job during summer is to "wear doll clothes," but the fact that the members wore those outfits to make the fans happy also touched my heart. I say to myself "I will compliment them when I see them."

To repay back the fans love if you received their love is something obvious/natural.

I am a person who believes that if everyone in this world could learn how to love truthfully, then our world would be a place filled with hope.

In that view, I think that BEAST's choice in choosing 'How to Love' as their ending song was excellent.

Even if the world changes, love is a value that we should strive for. Even if BEAST and B2UTY disappear, love will be everlasting. Love is hope. Love is the future."
