Kpop overseas
So I wanted to write about the topic Kpop overseas now. Since kpop is getting bigger (?) worldwide.
I don't really feel it.
I live in Europe, Sweden to be exact.
No one (or really FEW) know what kpop is (besides asians lol) of course there are non-asians too but almost all asians know what kpop is, lol. Or at least in my town, could be different from town to town but u get it!
And the only idol(s) we know is... PSY. Last year, omg headache in school cause I heard that song like everyday and EVERYONE tried to dance the "horsedance". XD
At least they tried...
2NE1 is the most successful group in my country. Some of my "I-don't-know-what-kpop-is" friends know who they are. And some know Big Bang! So yeah.. SM artist aren't that successful in my country... AND 2NE1, I talk about before the Gangnam style fever!
So yeah.. I guess it's coming?
I don't think my friends who don't know kpop will like guys in pink pants and a lot of make up on their eyes since yeah.. guys don't use make up here unless they're.. yeah u know.
I myself who are very "westernized" (Is that a word XD) didn't like kpop in the beginning. "Why are they dressed in girl clothes?" "Why are they wearing so much make up?" "It looks wierd!" "Is that a girl or boy?"
Stupid me...
But that's because I was brought up in a country who listens to american music that is "manly" compared to kpop. "Imma take your **** and then **** and after that I'll ****!!" Why did I listen to that? O__O
BUT NOW,
KPOP in my heart ♥
I thought Shinee was really girly the first time i saw them, now they're just.. kdsnfkkfekfefk <3
This was so weird the first time I saw it...
I guess people who are new to kpop have gone through the same things as me, right? XD
Or am I alone..?
Ok then... #foreveraphone
