I am so obsessed with this song already. Oh my goodness. That melody. That voice. The simplicity. Just perfection. The greatest present they could've given us VIP's on their 7th anniversary. Seungri never ceases to amaze me.  Something I have to give Seungri props for is his solo stuff and the way he knows himself and his style of music. His old album was incredible and this comeback only shows how much he has continued to grow as a musician. Also, I think Seungri has an it factor that not a lot of other kpop artists have. He knows his voice, he recognizes his weaknesses and is familiar with his strengths. He doesn't have to constantly experiment with sounds to find himself. 

I've always liked how YG gives his artists full control and artistic freedom when it comes to their promotions and Seungri really does use that to his advantage. He was the brain behind his entire first album and he's the one who decided on the clothes, concept and even choreography. This is probably the reason why I respect him and the rest of the YG crew in general. They treat music as an art form and not just a commercial thing and in the end it's what makes them so successful.
