I have been seeing these comment everywhere recently. The ones that are criticizing Roy.

Well... It was from his Super Star K4 day. When he reached th top 10 people started making a fuss about him not having the talent, him being useless, and other nonsense.

When Junyoung was expelled from SuperStar K4 leaving Roy and Dickpunks (a group) as the 2 remaining.

People started throwing their rude comment saying that he is the one supposed to lose and Junyoung is the one supposed to stay.

I hate to say this but ..... I am a fan of Junyoung too, a really big fan ..... But I hate his fans that posted these comments.

I mean Junyoung and Roy are friends, What do you think Junyoung's reaction will be when he reads your comment.

I think I know the answser.... He will think sooooo low of you.

Well coming to what happened next, when Roy Kim released his single "Bom Bom Bom" also know as "Spring Spring Spring".

People started saying he palagiarized 'Love is Cannon'

Why did they say it ??

The songs have same beat and tune.

Okay, I understand they do sound similar but this might be unintentional.

Maybe he did listen to this song before and made a similar sounding song without knowing it.

Maybe he did not listen to the song and just made his own rhythm and it sounded the same.

Many people are criticizing him on one more thing. He is rich.

So what, he is rich. End of story.

Succeeding in the industry and sweeping up the charts ranking first has nothing to do with being rich.

It is his own hardwork, he put his hardwork into composing his own lyrics and rhythm.

People even created an Anti-Roy Cafe.

People are calling him a spoilt  rich boy

People are calling him a theif

People are calling him a plagiarizer.

People are calling him a liar.

To all the haters, please stop. This guy is new to the industry. He really put all his effort in music.

They do sound very similar at parts but to be honest I think it was unintentional. Either he'd listened to that song and unintentionally copied it without realizing it or they came up with similar song concepts based on canon in d. I think the first is more likely as I'd imagine many musicians with very music based minds might listen to a lot of music and their minds might unintentionally absorb things. So he might have just heard it in public or something without noticing and so when he came up with the song he thought he was creating something original if his conscious mind forgot about it. I really think that's the case with most of these supposed plagiarism situations. I'd imagine it's hard to tell if a song you make is catchy because you made something catchy or because it was a song you'd heard before.

I remember I saw an experiment of sorts once where designers were made to design an advertisement or something of a specific topic that they wouldn't get until arriving a particular location. Only on the car drive to the place, images were posted on buildings and such to try to see if it would influence what people did. And it did! They didn't consciously notice those things but the influence got into their minds anyway and they created works based on those things. I think it's the same sort of thing with most plagiarism in music. It seems like a rather unnecessary risk to copy a song knowingly.
