Excuse Me While I Rant (My Se7en Scandal Opinion)

DISCLAIMER: This is MY opinion, and MY opinion ONLY. If you disagree with me, that's fine. Please, no bashing. People are stating their opinions, and being such a huge YG and Se7en fan, I thought I should state mine as well.

Choi Dongwook, also known as Se7en. He has been an idol for years. He was, and still is, one of my favorite soloists. This year, he recently went into the military.

Now, I've read articles about the scandal. From what I've read, I've learned Se7en and another celebrity went to adult massage parlors and stayed in a hotel after performing for a Korean holiday. They are going to be questioned, but we haven't learned what they've said yet.

My opinion on this: I am disappointed in Se7en. I don't understand why he did it, and maybe we never will. What upsets me even more, is the fact he might have betrayed his girlfiend, which I don't get why he would do this. They've been through so much, and my thoughts go out to Park Han Byul. I hope she stays strong during this.

What's making me even more angry are some of the fans. They're saying things like "YG should apologize". YG should apologize for what? YG wasn't a part of this, and had no knowledge this would happen. Se7en is a part of the military right now, not YG. If anyone needs to apologize, it's Se7en. This is his problem.

And also, I feel very upset that fans are bringing up G-Dragon's and Daesung's scandals from two years ago. Why would they bring these up? Yes, they are all a part of YG, but Daesung's was an ACCIDENT. It could have happened to anyone. The both apologized and went through the right things to resolve them. There is no reason to bring up their scandals right now. They're both probably sensitive about those situations, and if Daesung saw the comments, I am too afraid to think of what his thoughst are. I wish I could protect him.

I am one to think that the celebrity treatment in the Korean military is no fair. No, I'm not Korean. No, I've never been to South Korea. I don't know completely about the the military. But from an outside point of view, and having uncles that have served in the American army, navy, air force, and marines, I find that once you're a soldier, you shouldn't have any special treatment. You need to do what you need to do to protect your country.

All in all, I am disappointed in Se7en. What he did (if he did it) is completely immoral on different standards. He betrayed his girlfriend and didn't follow military protocal. He and Sangchu. I'm disappointed in some of his fans, too. I mean, really? Your idol gets in one scandal and you leave his cafe and write nasty things about him? That isn't a true fan in my opinion. Idols are HUMAN, and we need to remember that. They all make mistakes.

I am going to stick by Se7en. He is a very talented idol and I will always be his fan. I am just upset and disappointed. I hope Se7en apologizes and does what is needed.

One again. DISCLAIMER: This is MY opinion, and MY opinion ONLY. If you disagree with me, that's fine. Please, no bashing. People are stating their opinions, and being such a huge YG and Se7en fan, I thought I should state mine as well.

basically all we can say that Se7en is in deep and have lost a lot of fans and because of the articles that come in almost every day about the scandal,it makes him not a Koreas top celebrity but a big shame on all the celebrity soldiers.
He had such a great career as a solo artist, but now almost all of it has drowned.
I don't wanna judge but I think that even Rain's case wasn't this bad.
And Sangchu...oh well that guy is screwed completely.
Shorry J should better make a solo career

All I can say: men have their needs. No comment for other things.

Wow I agree with you.

Even on Healing Camp, where GD and Daesung were on there, GD even acknowledges that it was GD's own fault, whereas Daesung didn't know. Which is correct. (But GD didn't know that was in there; if he smokes that's his own choice too, nobody can force it). And I did forget that Se7en had a girlfriend as well. And I didn't know that people have been blaming YG!! It's obviously not like the company has been planning it or whatever; that's just absurd! Se7en should apologize on /his/ own behalf and his mistakes.

Coming from a Korean culture I live and grew up around, I know that Miltary mandatory service is a very important and Korean citizens take it the upmost seriousness possible. Although I believe it was bad, I felt pitiful for the other couple of celebrities that were caught and were being forced to answer as to why they were doing that in the middle of the night. Like I get that it's a bad thing what those soldiers were doing, but to embarass them like that is a bit to harsh. If the reporters just saw them concidentally, it's a different story. The fact that they've been practically stalking them for about 3 hours really irks to me.

I agree with your opinion though this does upset me very much I am still his fan, even though I am disappointed in him. I hope his girlfriend actually takes the time to think about their relationship because this is going to bring her down as well. I can't believe he did it, and I'm hoping to god that he apologizes soon for the sake of his label mates who are suffering because of this.
So disappointed in him.

finally someone who posts something worth reading and I agree
I was really disappointing in Se7en, it was kind of a double blow for me as Rain also had a scandal earlier this year. However, I will still stand by them. about "men have needs" well so do women, but they are called names if they'd be caught doing something like that

What your saying is totally true..
I'm a little upset as to why he did it but my brother says " Men have needs " I get that but what he did was really, what about his girlfriend, has he thought how she would feel...

I'm really disappointed in him..

From what I've read, he really didn't get any service from the place, he was at one point but then he wanted his refund. But the fact that he went there, knowing that he's an active duty solider and has a girlfriend is going to freak out a lot of people, especially him being a solider and wasn't suppose to be out at night. And the statement that the other guy's entertainment company had released is making it 10 times worse than it already is.. And assaulting the cameraman is an icing on the cake...
I feel so sorry for him right now and I hope he really recovers from this cause it to see someone in a scandal...
