is it really....

in light of se7en's scandal, I want to ask this question: is it really right to say that once a 'fan' turns his/her back after an idol scandal happened, s/he's not a true or loyal fan? (for those people who don't know, se7en got into a scandal after beung caught going out of an adult massage parlor qith Sangchu of Mighty Mouth. this happenes after an event. to read more, visit some allkpop articles lol) i'm just asking this because of all the tweets I read on twitter. people judge fans who turned their backs on him as not loyal or not a true fan. personally, I don't think that's the case, cos maybe that fan just expected too much of him because you know, he had a good reputation as a sunbae, a hyung, an oppa, and a boyfriend. and mayve those fans just got too disappointed and hurt. but I don't think that's conclusive though. these are just ny presumptions so I want to hear from you. PS: for those wondering why I have been gone for so long, school started 2 weeks ago and I got bombarded imediately by school requirements. i'm planning on focusing on school first and putting it as priority. so please understand and no... this blog post doea not mean I can go back to updating coa I still can't. I just came here to vent out sone frustrations because of these so-called judgements by people PYONG. (i'm not in the mood. got reallt frustrated and disappointed with seven.. but i'm not leaving him. i'll still be a fan. i'm stilk waiting for what he has to say so that things will be cleared)

ahm..on my opinion...maybe the reason y some people call those fans unloyal or untrue..its because if you are really a fan you know that idol very well and not a petty issue like this will provoke you to turn your back on him/her...instead of leaving him you will stay by his/her side to give her/him the support that they needed in times like this.... hehe this is just my opinion... goodluck on your studies... but i do hope you can update your fics... :)

that's bullcrap. i could be loyal and trusty and all that but turn my back. faith isn't eternal, so is love and etc. And obviously being a fan isn't eternal, too. you can be the best, the most dedicated fan in the entire world but eventually, you're going to move on... time passes. so then, is all that time and effort you put in just isn't being 'true'?

Seriously, don't you think you took it too serious?

Honestly, to me, what seven did was really dissapointing. He has an image of a good boyfriend, humble idol and caring sunbae, but what he did there ruined those images that he was trying to build all his carreer. It's true that we should listen to him first but like what else can he say? Theres too much witnesses. You're not a fake fans just because you're dissapointed in youre idols.

It's not good to judge a person without knowing the whole truth first. They said they love Se7en oppa, so if they do love him then they must trust him too. Why can't then they give oppa a chance to at least explain his side? Like, wtf, it was just the POV of those A$$H@&# paparazzi, how can they honestly believe what those "exaggerated-attention-seeker" guys said? And if in anyway it is the truth, he can't hide it. It'll eventually come out. But as a fan, a real real fan, he/she would stand by him no matter what. He's only human for heaven's sake, we all make mistakes, why can't he? I mean, come on! People are exaggerating too much as if he has caused a destruction to South Korea dfgDFGF! aigooo... And it wasn't just him in the news, but the media focus all the blame on him, why oh why?? So unfair. tsk! And am not even a legit Lucky7, just a casual fan talking here but am so pissed off. I really don't like fans who turn their backs on their idols. This is the moment when Seven oppa needed them most, but what are they doing? Now, I remember what happen to GD&Dae, and it pains me.. pains me to see others reaction. I hope they have had the sense of not repeating the history itself.

I actually don't blame his fans who turned their back on him. Knowing Se7en as a great friend, boyfriend, hyung and oppa, it was kind of disappointing to see him do this. He didn't just put his name or girlfriend's name in shame but also the army.

I'm also worried and feeling sorry about han byul because she's going to be the one who will gain half of the attention. It also shows that she can't satisfy his needs but we all get that he can't really see her right now but seriously!?!? Going to a e house massage?? That's just disgusting -.-

I love Se7en but this is just very disapppinting to me -.- I don't get some fans who hate people who speaks out their opinion of the event like when someone says something that doesn't agree with Se7en, they just get mad and blah blah blah -.-

Poor se7en who will suffer from critism :( he kind of deserves it though - I mean he has a girlfriend so he should probably enter a normal massage place and not act like a hormonal jerk :( I love Se7en but this is just bad :/

As a YG stan.. this is really saddening.
He has the good image yet he kind of destroyed it.
I was thinking of listing him off my bias list..

But I realized something.
As a true fan/stan you musn't just support your idol, you also have to understand him or imagine that if you were in his place.
His turning 29 this year so I think he's mature/old enough to that kind of places.
But what I've been worrying about lately is Park Han Byul.. she must've been really sad about this.

Btw, I'll forever keep Se7en on my bias list because I can sense that he'll make the right decisions in the future.

it really depends sunbae. if this fan just lashes out, judges and bashes se7en, and the rest of yg artists' past mistakes, then yes, they can't be called a fan.

but if they are, just like you, disappointed, hurt, i think it's just normal for a fan. as long as in the end, they will still try to support se7en throughout this ordeal, even if they are disappointed with him, those are still real fans. because it means that altho se7en disappointed them, they still accepted his flaws. altho they got hurt, they still support him and still have his back. THAT'S WHAT BEING A TRUE FAN IS. :)

I was caught off guard, actually. I'm not a huuuuge fan of Se7en, but this shocked me, and yes, I'm a bit disappointed.
Good luck with school!

I understand about your issues hehe. Meanwhile, I just started summer holidays weeehooo. But well yeah, I know. I also thought the same. How can you consider yourself a fan if you don't support them all the way ? For example, I became a VIP after Daesung's accident and GD's marihuana scandal.
When Daesung's scandal came out, the only K-Pop groups I knew about were 2NE1 and SHINee and I didn't even know who BIGBANG were... (I watched 2NE1 TV season 2 and, on the episodes I saw, the only time they put BIGBANG TV on the left top and I thought GD and TOP were producers because they were working on the studio and called themselves BIGBANG TvT) - alright, kill me please -, but I remember clearly reading the news about the accident and, even though I didn't know who he was, I felt so bad.

Then, on summer, I began watching 2NE1 TV season 3 and I finally realised BIGBANG was a five-member group but I didn't know they were that important... I was really into SUJU that time and Si Won was all I could see XD. I saw pictures of TOP everywhere and I kept saying to myself, 'How can people like him ? He's ugly!'.

I seriously regret that now.

Then, in August, I started listening to BIGBANG and learning from them... also started liking Tabi hehehehe. GD scandal broke out in October and I felt bad. The day they won the EMAs, that was the day I became their fan. I voted for them for the EMAs, but I only liked them.

But... after seeing them, on that stage, that day, live on my TV...

I just knew I would love those boys forever, no matter how many scandals would blow up afterwards.

That's what I think a fan should be like. SUPPORT THEIR IDOL, AND LEARN TO FORGIVE HIM/HER !

If not, why being a fan ? Makes no sense.
