My assistant manager informed me on Saturday that homouals are merely "sick in the head" and "need help" despite the fact that I have openly admited to being LGBT*. 

My umma is the best though. As soon as I told her last night, she researched a whole bunch of laws in South Mississippi and looked up local lawyers and workplace procedures and is taking me down to work today after she gets back from the doctor so that she can have a 'one on one' chat with my assistant manager. Have I ever mentioned how much I love my Umma (and in turn, my Appa, who is technicaly my stepdad, but, I love him nonetheless). Even when my own biological father and grandfather sent me anti-gay hate when I first came out of the closet, she was always there for me to make some silly comment or some sort of joke to make me feel better. She's always so supporting and I know that I am truely lucky to have parents like that becasue, not everyone has them.

Needless to say, It's going to be rough for the next little while, I have a feeling they will find a reason to fire me within the next few days because of something stupid [like using my cellphone at work, or taking of my work smock while working outside, or going pee to often], but my Umma told me if they did that, she was going to go to WLOX [the local news station].

I really think I need to go take a shower and just cry... I'll talk to you guys later.
