The second is his sworn-brother, three years older and surer still. Taemin remembers him as a boisterous voice always strong, always confident. He never cowers in the face of adversity and has convictions sturdier than the earth itself.

He is the strongest person Taemin has ever met.

(But even the strongest man cannot stand against one-point-six tonnes of mechanized metal.)

However, Baekhyun’s father was a clever man: he knew that the Spirit’s dominion not only ended at the edge of the woods, but also above the tops of the trees. He spent the days tirelessly laying stone upon stone until an ivory tower loomed over the forest. The day before summer’s end, he gathered Baekhyun in his arms and carried him up the spiraling staircase to the room atop the tower.

University .

Well, at least it when you let your father bully you into taking a course in Economics with a surly Jamaican professor (who is just a little too fond of the meter-stick) every Thursday morning. At half-past-eight. What kind of ungodly person is awake for class at half-past-eight? All Minho wants to do is graduate with his Arts degree and get in three hours of sleep every night.

Sadly, the course is doing its damndest to make sure he gets neither.

Once they had settled into the plush seats of the carriage, Baekhyun asked,  "So, what did you notice?

Kyungsoo thought about the body of the dead girl he had seen. "She probably wasn't in the river for long, a day perhaps? There were no obvious marks, so if it was not suicide, then she may have died from poison or even suffocation."

Baekhyun nodded. "All plausible hypotheses, but you failed to mention this." He handed Kyungsoo the scrap of cloth he had collected. In the middle of the white fabric was a dark, red stain.

I'm beginning to understand why pyromaniacs love what they do. I'm not saying I have a death wish by provoking DZ but there's a certain thrill in getting away with something potentially life-threatening. The fact that DZ has not blown up is immensely intriguing but I don't think petty pranks (as entertaining as they are) will yield the answers I seek. Let's just say I'm done with silly tricks like running a finger through a candle flame. It's time to get out the lighter and start burning.

Without warning, the creature broke free of the invisible hold and zoomed towards him. Xiumin raised his arms to shield his face, but the hit never came. Luhan stood with a hand raised, his eyes focused intently on the demon.

"Thanks." Telekinesis was pretty handy when it came to stopping scary, weird-looking bats.

But Luhan wasn't the only one with superhuman abilities. Xiumin lifted his own hands and tried to recall the icy coolness in his fingertips the last time he had used his power. When he opened his eyes, the creature had finally stilled, a film of ice on its motionless wings.

Whoops... I've read 3/6 of these... >_< Though I've read one of those three before I found this.
