Following the hit success of the FIRST season of 'The Romantic and Idol' TVN released a second season featuring...

BTOB Minhyuk:

This kid ed up my brain so much...that I couldn't believe how good he was at it -.-;;; Seriously...he goes back and forth between two girls...(Yewon and Jiwon)...and then. BA-BAM~! He throws a curve ball. He SAYS his feelings have changed from when he first met Yewon and then...I quote...

'Everything, from the halftime selection to the text, I picked you, Yewon. Even though what I said may have been ambiguous and I said I wanted to get to know the other people, I picked you. But as I became confused, there was a little bit of me wondering, 'If i do this, what would Yewon do?' So I, myself, wanted to know why i was confused, and I wanted to see how you would react..."

Seriously...he ed up everyones minds with his whole 'I don't know who to choose...' thing...including the writers. They were pretty surprised at his decision too and Jonghoon...? Meh. Just extraordinarily pissed.

He was a cheerful, flirty, extremely difficult to understand character. He treated everyone extremely well, but his answers and actions were rather ambiguous. He was sweet but...he was like that to everyone.

G.NA: Watched Season 1 anybody? Then you'll know about the whole 'JB+Seungah' thing. Well, a little repeat occured again in season 2. G.NA was partnered with Jonghoon and no matter HOW MUCH he emphasizes that he likes Yewon, she still can't seem to move on....I blame the fact she didn't get a date with anyone else. Personally I would have liked to see her on a date with Kevin. It's a bit disapointing that she didn't get the happy ending she wanted (eventually ending in tears) however...what's done is done~ such is unrequited love.

Things just CANNOT get as messed up as things did with these 2...Jonghoon blatantly expresses his like for Yewon and seems to almost forget G.Na is existent and he doesn't try to conceal his feelings whatsoever...leaving G.Na to fend for herself.

She was really bubbly and cheerful...but a little overbarring at times. She showed a lot of cute sides....and 4D ones ranging from bursting into random outbursts and dances.

FTISLAND Jonghoon: Ah...he's a loyal one he is. He's stuck to Yewon since the beginning to the end. It's kind of creepy...he would wait for Minhyuk and Yewon to finish their date...or he'd result to following them. He doesn't really make an effort to hide his feelings meaning he sort of left G.Na hanging a lot of the time...He can either be labelled as a total or a loyal knight....take your pick. He wasn't too pleased with the final result though...XP

"I think the saying, 'Sorry I can't be cool about it' is going to come out now. I want to be cool about it, but I can't get over it. It's a little uncomfortable."

He was protective (if not a slight bit overly jealous and possesive) but he always treated his dates with the utmost care (as long as it was only the two of them) and he really showed a manly, leading side. He's charsimatic and romantic as well as really, really REALLY thoughtful. Of course until the whole protective streak kicks in. Then he's just a meanie XP

JEWELRY Yewon: The one who was caught up in the most drama. She shared a comfortable flirty relationship with Minhyuk...and then BOOM! Jonghoon pops in with his open skinship (and forehead kisses) He had a scary attachment to Yewon while she was stuck between the comfortable cute one vs the manly loyal one.

Of course in the end...hahaha~ love at first sight. Of course she chooses Minhyuk!

"If I have to say why, I went on dates with both of you, but the person I was more comfortable with and who really made things fun was Min hyuk. Although he did hurt me, I think theses times were more fun, so..."

"I'm still confused, but when the two of them were standing there, rather than think, 'I wonder what would happen if i choose him or him,' I found myself walking towards Minhyuk. Every little word on our dates...and all those times I was laughing, I was really laughing."

Hahah~ love can't get better than that. But OUCH JONGHOON!

Yewon portrayed an extremely down-to-earth, realistic girl who struggled a lot with understanding Minhyuk's all over the place emotions as well as having to deal with the whole drama from Jonghoon's over loyalty. She was adorable and cute as well as motherly and overall...I approve of her being with Minhyuk...albeit the fact they are the ONLY couple to be created this season XP

TWO X Eunyoung:

The biggest surprise for me this season~ for one...Eunyoung was extremely sweet, down-to-earth and fun. She's laid back and chilled with a witty sense of humor which labelled her as the 'Interview Queen' Her first date was N...and despite a few dates with ZE:A's Kevin...she pretty much stuck to N all the way. She doesn't know why she likes him...she just know she does.  She didn't get a lot of time on screen...which I find a pity but you can still sense the serious and distinct qualities she posseses throughout the show. Through the final selection...though no one came to her, she still managed to keep a relatively cool head...BUT~

Her most epic moment ever though...

SPICA Jiwon: Laid back and scarily calm. She's extremely serious and her heart rarely faltered. She was charmed by Minhyuk's, "Awkward but manly nature" and also by N's "Cute, comfortable nature" In the end her final decision....?

Minhyuk~

Of course...as she was approached by N and Kevin...but friend-zoned both of them. So...another couple bites the wind.

She's so unbelievably chilled....and kind of hard to understand because she doesn't really express her emotions. It's more like...she's secretly expressive? If that makes sense...

VIXX N: A dorky, sweet, extremely innocent type. He was charmed by Eunyoung and then...WHOOOOP~ BAM! He falls for Jiwon....HARD...and then the whole situation spirals out of control as he lands himself in a love....shape with Jiwon, Kevin, Minyuk, Eunyoung and Yewon...oh and Jonghoon...and~ G.Na. Basically all of em' ( a connection which will be explained later)

He showed an innocent, sweet side, going as far as to drag G.Na into the truth to question her about Jiwon's inner thoughts...you can imagine the reaction from G.Na. She cheered like a girl gossiping with a 5-year old kid who's crushing on a noona. It was kinda cute...^^; He was torn apart at the thought of choosing...But...his heart went where his heart went.

ZE:A Kevin: The only one out of ALL participants...whose NEVER been in a relationship. (Why I really don't know....) Well...his inexperience and innocence did pop up in quite a number of situations ranging from his nearly tackling Eunyoung for the backhug mission to back-hugging Eunyoung to say sorry for not picking her...yeah....not the smartest move on your part Kevin. Anyway~ he was EXTREMELY sweet uh...shy. Very gentleman-ish...and kind of serious. He's ANOTHER ONE...that didn't let his feeling falter for his first date Jiwon...which resulted in a one-sided love affair with Jiwon while she did not return his feelings.

So unbearably cute...it was seriously the sweetest thing ever. Just seeing this date will make you understand why this couple lasted till the end.

G.NA&Jonghoon:

Jonghoon was pissed off...cuz he gave Yewon this kickass mega huge hint which necklace he picked...but she picked something else(not on purpose) but he still treated G.NA well. Meanwhile...G.NA just talked...on and on...forever and ever.

Kevin&Eunyoung: As mentioned....Kevin very nearly tackled Eunyoung while backhugging her. I blame his inexperience...it was quite funny XP

Jiwon&N: Strangely sweet actually....reminds me of how Jei and JB were.

Third date: (t-shirt shuffle and forhead kiss)

Jonghoon&Yewon:

You can imagine how happy Jonghoon was...especially during the kiss...Woo~ It was probably the happiest he was during the entire show. Though he still got a little upset when G.NA picked his song during the song shuffle....

G.NA&Minhyuk:

One just CANNOT suspect romantic activity...WHEN THEIR IN THE SAME FRIKKIN AGENCY! So...yeah the kiss went well. G.Na kisses Minhyuk's forhead with a simple, "Our Minhyuk has grown so much..." and they both giggle shyly. Seriously...this is my most favorite moment...EVER!!

N&Jiwon:

N was like an adolescent teenage boy kissing a 20something year old noona for the first time. TOO CUTE~ he kissed her with a word of 'I love you...' then ran away screaming XP

Kevin&Eunyoung:

I didn't actually see this date...but these two just get awkwarder with time :D

Minhyuk&Yewon:

Ah~ the only girl who understood Minhyuk's childish sense of choice. They get a long so well~ Haha, how pleased Jonghoon was when he thought no one came out for Minhyuk.

Jonghoon&G.NA:

What cruel fate brings this upon them?!!!!! G.NA had a tiny bit of a nervous breakdown here...like really...both of them did. More so when Jonghoon abandoned G.NA to follow Yewon and Minhyuk....again. Course...he gave Yewon ANOTHER hint what song he was gonna use...yah. She couldn't wait long enough and went out on the first song.

Kevin:

Unfortunately...NO ONE CAME OUT :(

N&Eunyoung&Jiwon:

WHAT?! Yup...he couln't choose at first. And as the writers counted to 10, he took Jiwon's hand said, "Eunyoung I'm sorry" and abandoned Eunyoung who ranted by pointing at his back shouting, "YAH!"
