Hey! So this is the first time I make a tutorial. So sorry if it's not understandable :')

 

STEP 1 : Open a new file by clicking "File" on the left corner of your Photoshop program. Click new and choose the size of your choice. Click "OK"

 

 

STEP 2 : Click the "Window" on the top of your computer then click "Animation". The animation section will appear. 

 

 

STEP 3 : Click on the tool as shown below and choose the straight line tool.

 

 

STEP 4 : Form a rectangle using the line tool. Next, click the shapes you have formed. Your rectangle should have 4 shapes since its a rectangle ^^ Then right-click and choose "merge layer". This way, it's easier for you to work on the rectangle.

 

 

STEP 5 : After all of the shapes being merged, right-click again and click on the "duplicate layer". You can also use Alt+J on your keyboard.

 

 

STEP 6 : After the second layer appeared, go to "Edit" and click "Free Transform". Alt+T on you keyboard is also another way to free transform.

 

 

STEP 7 : Rotate the rectangle. It doesn't matter how you rotate it.. Just, rotate it as much as you want. Below, I coloured the second layer red so that it's easier for you guys to see.

 

 

STEP 8 : Click the "Move tool". The apply tranformation will appear. Click "apply".

 

 

STEP 9 : Do the same thing for the first layer. Remember, make sure you rotate those two layers at different directions.

 

 

STEP 10 : Click on the small box on the animation section to duplicate the layers for the animation. 

 

 

STEP 11 : After clicking that, two same layers will appear in the animation section.

 

 

 

STEP 12 : Go to the first layer. Then, on the "LAYERS" section, click the button with the eye icon beside the first layer of your rectangle. Then first layer will disappear.

 

 

 

STEP 13 : Then go to the second layer on the "animation" section. On the "LAYERS" section, do the same thing to the second layer but remember to show the first layer back. Then, just adjust the duration of each layers on the "animation" section.

 

 

 

STEP 14 : You are almost done. Now click "File" and "Save for Web & Device" to save the picture you've made.

 

 

 

STEP 15 : Make sure you've changed the picture format to GIF. Click "Save". You're done!

 

 

STEP 16 : To save your work as PDF file (Photoshop format), go to "File" and click save as. Save it anywhere as you wish ^^
