The nerd although typically very intellectual in many things, tend to have the sterotype that they are very weak, gangly, and not able to protect themselves. Although this is true, there are students who are able to fight this and are both smart, and can be charasmatic as well. Nerd are looked down upon, and most times, they wont do anything for the reasont that their personalities are too passive and allow others to do what they want with them, that being physical and mental bullying. The nerds have this sterotype most likely because they would stay inside and study instead of go out. But the truth is always that they study, but they also have a talent of a sort, whether it be a musical talent, artistic talent, they do.
