Life Background: Alisha was born in Perth, Australia. Born to Singaporean Malay, Abdullah and Korean mother, Yoomi. At the age of 4, Alisha and her family moved back to Singapore as Abdullah finished his contract working at Perth. When Alisha was 15, her parents divorced and Alisha followed her mother to Busan, South Korea while her brother stayed in Singapore with her father. Now, her parents are in good terms and Alisha is still in contact with her brother.

Initially, Alisha wanted to become a model. When she was still in Singapore, she was a child model for a local boutique and gained popularity for that which landed her a role in a local drama, acting as the main character's daughter. But, as she reached 13, she realized that acting is not her thing. During that period, she learned how to play piano. After she moved to Busan, she signed contract with a modelling agency at age 16.

How you became a trainee: When she was 17, she joined a singing competition for fun but she ended up winning the competition. The song that she sang was composed by herself. Alisha was dumped by her first boyfriend at that time, resulting her to compose the song. It was uploaded on Youtube and caught the attention of Cube Ent's CEO. Thus, Alisha was scouted to become a trainee. Since then, Alisha gained interest in singing.
