Blog 001

Okay, music blog.

Today's Artist:

Linkin Park

I've basically been raised by my dad introducing me to all kinds of music, from classic rock, to R&B, to heavy metal, to underground, and mainstream pop music.

Linkin Park is a band that I've grown accustomed to listening to for a while, my dad would play their albums in the car, and I would listen to them on my iPod and my computer.

Linkin Park now has, what? I think four albums out now? No, five.

I've starred ( * ) the songs I listen to the most per album.

#5.) Living Things

Release: 2012 (most present)

I've been listening to this album a lot on my iPod lately, English wise (because I listen to Korean more than anything, KPop and KIndie is invading my life.) and I really like it. I'm waiting for some of the songs to be performed tonight at Mohegan Sun (I'm going to their concert tonight, one of the main reasons I decided to create this blog post) This album has more of an um... electronica/techno or more you know, that type of thing, feeling. Some of the songs are mainly just inrtumentals (which are amazing by the way) or no raps, or that screamo type thing, but just plain singing and instruments. I love that they've switched up their style compared to their past albums and styles, showing how far Linkin Park has come since their debut and how much they've changed.

Songs:

  1. Lost in the Echo*
  2. In My Remains*
  3. Burn It Down*
  4. Lies Greed Misery*
  5. I'll Be Gone*
  6. Castle of Glass*
  7. Victimized*
  8. Roads Untraveled*
  9. Skin to Bone*****
  10. Until It Breaks*
  11. Tinfoil*
  12. Powerless*

I'm seriously in love with this album, I really am.

It's awesomesauce.

And epicmuffins.

I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE you to listen to Linkin Park's music, and maybe um... download it, maybe?

Well, this was short, and maybe a bit boring (probably was),  but, it's my first blog here, so, hey bro, cut me some slack.

What Time Is It?!
