APPEARANCE

a tiny boy that never grew into his ideal height, caspian is known as fun-size. his face is still round with childish youth that tends to make people think he's younger that he actually is. his eyes are on the smaller side and enhance his natural cuteness.

caspian has small hands and feet to match his small height. despite his height, most of it is in his legs which are slender than most males his age.

skin is pale which definitely is a indicator of how much he has stayed indoors for most of his childhood. his hair is naturally black and has not been messed with, not that stella has tried to convince him to change it on the daily.

STYLE

caspian is not one for style, much to anxious to really figure out fashion for himself. he usually turned to his mother and stella for advice on clothing.

with that said, caspian's wardrobe could be very much another reason for why he gets mistaken as a child often.

large knit sweaters and uniform like outfits, caspian looks like a little school boy most of the time that it's not even funny. it doesn't help that he wears these big glasses and carries around the cutest little bag.

his fashion is very much still the fashion back in galar and he sort of sticks out a bit, but it's what he grew up wearing and he's not about to change it, not when he got used to the softness of the knit sweaters and corduroy pants.

he sometimes pairs off his usual outfit with a newsboy cap, but he has tendency of losing it.

NAME　hamasaki akihiko

OTHER NAME

CASPIAN　his english name that he was given when he was super young. he is more known as caspian then he is akihiko. even his parents call him caspian moreso than his birthname. it doesn't have much of a meaning, his parents thought it was a cute, but strong 'princely' name that would match the meaning of his birthname.

NICKNAMES

CRYBABY　it's quite obvious on how caspian got this nickname. he is...quite the crybaby. he easily cries, especially when spooked and scared. he's trying really hard to outgrow this nickname, but he's not doing a very good job at the moment...

CAS　just a simple nickname that stella normally calls him when she isn't calling him other names. others tend to call him this as well when they get closer to him.

KID　caspian looks younger than he actually is and gets mistaken for a young child most of the time.

this little mudkip has been timid since he was hatched. easily scared, trainers ended up picking the other starters due to his habit of using water gun when spooked. mudkip was growing lonely after being left behind so many times...that was until he met caspian.

caspian actually wanted to pick torchic, who would eventually evolve into a strong and cool pokemon, but it was when he accidentally scared the mud fish pokemon and the pokemon in return hit him with a cold shot of water that he knew that this mudkip would be his trainer.

TRIVIA

→　because mudkip is a water type, caspian nicknamed him enyo which basically means open seas or high seas.

→　enyo is timid natured.

→　they both share a lot traits like being timid and wanting to be stronger.

→　enyo doesn't stay in his pokeball and would rather perch himself on caspian shoulder while traveling.

→　enyo gets spooked very easily and when he's spooked, he has a tendency to spew a water gun at whoever is closest to him.

→　thanks to enyo, caspian is slowly getting over his fear of water. it also helps that caspian is always the victim of enyo's sudden water guns.

→　enyo has a liking to sweet flavors.

→　will eventually evolve to marshtomp and swampert, respectively.

an egg that he was given from his parents after he revieved his starter. he doesn't know what kind of pokemon it is yet, but the egg seems to be showing signs of being very lively.

TRIVIA

→　the egg will eventually hatch into a female eevee, which caspian will nickname alice. the eevee shows signs of being of the curious sort, just like the stories of alice in wonderland, which is why caspian names the eevee as such.

→　alice will end up being brave natured.

→　despite alice being on the smaller side of her species, she doesn't let that stop her and much like brutus, she likes to protect him by puffing up her fluff and wiggling her tail menacingly. er, well, as menacing as a eevee tail can be.

→　as an egg, caspian keeps her in a portable incubator in his messenger bag. after she hatches, she will mainly stay in her pokeball. when she is out of her ball, she likes to stay near caspian's feet and weave in and out of them as he walks.

→　alice will like a mixture of sweet and spicy foods.

→　will eventually evolve, but i'd like to keep her evolution up to the author!

→　i can see alice evolving either into espeon or sylveon.

another gift pokemon, this time from stella herself. caspian was gifted this galarian zigzagoon after a videocall with stella where he introduced enyo to her. after noticing how enyo is just as timid as caspian is, she grew a bit concerned with how caspian would travel.

within days, caspian was given brutus. there was an instant connection, at least for brutus as the tiny racoon pokemon practically attached himself to his new trainer.

despite him being given to be a protector for caspian, brutus turned out to be a bit of handful as he doesn't really stay in his pokeball for long and ends up chasing people when they get too close to his trainer.

TRIVIA

→　stella nicknamed him brutus because it was a tough name and hoped that he would be a strong protector for caspian.

→　brutus is rash natured.

→　brutus usually stays in his pokeball, but has a tendency to bust out of it when he feels like caspian is overwhelmed or someone is bothering him.

→　shows his love to caspian by constantly and headbutting him.

→　brutus will eat anything, literally. as long as it's from caspian, will gladly eat anything happily.

→　will eventually evolve into linoone and obstagoon, respectively.

a pokemon that caspian will capture later on in his journey.

the team will be continuing their journey like normal, but as night time creeps up on them, they are forced to camp out for the night and continue their way to lilycove city in the morning. they soon come to find out they aren't...alone at their chosen campsite. a lot of their items start to float and even someone's food gets stolen from their hands. noises are heard as they fall asleep.

their bad luck continues in the morning as they resume their way to lilycove city. it isn't until they make it to the city when they find out that the ghost haunting them is actually a small and lonely shuppet looking for attention. after being found out, the shuppet attaches himself to caspian for some reason and nothing he does will get the ghost type pokemon to back off so he has no choice, but the capture the pokemon. to his surprise, the shuppet lets himself get caught and soon caspian has another pokemon added to his team.

TRIVIA

→　the shuppet's nickname shea is a play on of the 'sha' is 'shadow'. caspian thought he was being clever with the idea.

→　shea is naughty natured.

→　shea likes to mess with caspian, like taking his glasses or pulling on his backpack while he's walking.

→　will mess with others if they mess with caspian. only shea can mess with caspian.

→　usually stays in his pokeball, only coming out when caspian lets him out.

→　shea will have a liking to spicy things.

→　will eventually evolve into banette, respectively.

→　of course, caspian will end up catching more pokemon along his journey though i'll leave it up to you on what other pokemon he might catch. i only listed the ones i know for sure that i want on his team.

→　some pokemon that i can possibly see caspian befriending and catching would be: ralts, whismur, skitty, swablu, pichu, chimecho, wynaut, phanpy, beldum, snorunt.

fun fact! caspian's original starter was a sobble, which is where the whole 'timid' partner pokemon idea comes from. <3
