Swallow nostalgia

The life of an idol seems never ending. Bright lights, nonstop performances, and practice! practice! practice! But there's more beneath the surface of the pretty face and moves on stage. Suburbia is the place to let go, be who you are beneath the facade you put on for fans and cameras. Find your new best friend, maybe even the love of your life or a few casual flings if that's your thing. But most of all, enjoy life.

Suburbia is a MEWE based, general roleplay accepting of everyone within the Asian entertainment industry. We are friendly and welcoming, and lax on those crazy activity checks. With fun events, caring admins, and more to come. We are accepting those of all writing styles and orientations.

Guidelines

one. subscribe! upvotes aren't necessary, but greatly appreciated. however, subscribing keeps you up to date!

two. muses: muses and typist must both be above the age of 19. there will be content within the group, and no one is trying to get in trouble. we also only accept face claims with the Asian entertainment industry. no ulzaangs, p*rn stars, problematic or married idols. (if you're curious, send an ask and we will tell you! ♥) 

three. activity. we are very lax on activity, but we do require enough to keep our dash alive! try to post at least 1-2 times a week, comment on others statuses and emoji every post that you come across. activity checks will happen every 2 weeks. Feel free to apply again if you get removed from inactivity. 

four. drama. we all love a bit of drama in character, but that's where it needs to stay. if you have history with a typist out of character, leave it at the door. it will not be allowed within our community. if things escalate in character and slip into out of character, please contact the admins if it can not be talked out in a civil manner. no metagaming or facechasing.

five. relationships. there is no dating ban, because sometimes a connection just happens and who are we to stop it? however, if we notice that you're not reaching out and talking to others within the community, we will come and speak to you. we allow love all across the spectrum, however we do not allow mpreg. marriage is allowed after 3 months of being within the role play. pregnancy is allowed but will last a whole 9 months and the child will be an NPC. all pregnancies must be ran by the admin team to be accepted.

six.  hiatuses and semi hiatuses you must be in the role play for at least 2 weeks before requesting an hiautus. they both can go up to a month.

seven.  departures if you are about to leave, let the admins know. send them a message and wait for a reply especially if you are going to use the same account in another roleplay. it's very hard to keep track on people who do this and figure out which character left. if you don't wait for a reply and just leave and change the name of your account, you will be blacklisted from the roleplay.

AFTER ACCEPTANCE

one. account! make sure you use your muses whole name, no characters or nicknames. add the admin account and wait to be announced within the group.

two. sns! make your sns and post within the intro group and make your first post within 72 hours to keep your role! always emoji your own posts first to make it easier for your fellow roleplayers!

three. profile. please add suburbia or the "📘 " (:blue_book:) emoji to somewhere on your profile. 

four. . this is an adult only role play, but lets keep our dashes relatively clean. talk of is safe, but please keep any within the group, if you're talking in DMs, send a warning before sending anything too risque so that someone doesn't accidentally open it in public!

five. events. events are for everyone to have a chance to participate and get to know people they might not have talked to before, though we hope you're all reaching out. however, they are not manditory unless otherwise noted.

six. second and third muses. second muses are allowed within a week of being active inside of the role play, ALWAYS ASK PERMISSION FROM THE ADMÍNS BEFORE SENDING APPLICATION FOR A SECOND OR THIRD ACCOUNT. third muses are allowed after one (1) month.

seven.  carrds and bios. feel free to make a carrd, or any other form of bio for your muse. again, it is not manditory, but it could help other typists figure out more about your muse and something can blossom!
