Problems : React or respond

Every person thinks that s/he is facing the biggest problem and that others can’t understand since they haven’t been in his/her shoes.

But in my opinion, there is not a single person who doesn’t face hardship, even the richest person has his issues and the new toddlers have worries…lol

I am usually cheerful, so people think that I have no worries at all~

One day, one of my colleague told me “You have a smiling face every time, seems like you have not a single difficulty!”

I replied, “My worrying does not solve any concern so, why worry. Things that are bound to happen and things that would not happen are not within our control anyways. We need to do our best but not expect for the result.”

Another day, another colleague said similar and I replied, “How big is the problem doesn’t depend upon the problem itself but how we respond to it. If we think it for a while, it causes head ache, if we think for a day, it causes stress, if we think it constantly, it will make us depressed.”

It’s not like I don’t have a problem but rather I don’t think too much of it. I work out for the solution and wait for the result patiently. If it doesn’t work out, there will be a different way to try again.

Every person have their difficulty,

as a kid, when his/her diaper is not changed timely, its troublesome,

growing up, not having the doll or toy other kids have is a big problem,

in school, maintaining top grade along with social activity is tough,

after University, getting job is hectic,

later, getting promoted is nerve wrecking,

in business, lowering cost and increasing profit is mind playing,

finding right partner and getting married is hard,

being great parents is difficult,

at old age, just being able to do things on your own is challenging.

But it all depends on our perception on how we take that burden, if we let it bring us down or we take it as a way of life and move on.

I think maturity is when we learn how to respond to a problem rather than react to it.

When I was in University, I used to take everything seriously so, when something happened, I used to overthink it till I felt like my head was going to burst. But now, I have learnt that things will fall in right place at right time, we can’t get anything beyond or before time.

I gree with this, and love how you worded it. It's very true, and some people never learn these lessons, so it's good when people know the difference and put it into practice.
