CEO KIM a nickname created by the ceo himself, brian moon, and kept up by her members. enamored by her perfectionism and need of control when she is often suggesting things, out of her place and to the higher ups! (though respectfully, of course). both brian and alyssa has said before that once bohyung retires from the idol scene, they could see her being her own ceo as well, just from her sure passion.
BONNIE / BO bonnie and bo are both english nicknames of hers. technically bonnie is her stage name in cherie (something she wish never was). but the girls tend to call her this from time to time. sometimes, when it's really imperative that they should not.
POWER VOCAL the members call her the power vocal. there are technically two main vocals in cherie/fortuna, but it's without a doubt bohyung is the pride of their vocal talent.

growing up all her life, bohyung never really felt particularly pretty... enough. blame it on her robbed childhood under the largest entertainment company in the business with the most impossbile standards to live up to, or blame it on living in her perfect older sister's shadow. but she's always felt like the ugly duckling amongst the many. bohyung would like to thank puberty for expanding her horizons visually, but she knows that every can tell she's had a bit of work done, even based on her school photos. thanks to bm being in contact with some of the best plastic surgeons in the country, she's confirmed to have eye lid surgery and jaw shaving done. though she was aware that this was apart of her job and she had to do it to succeed, a part of her still felt a little guilty when she visited her family afterwards and they gasp in shock. but she defends herself and her choices, and claims how much happier she is.
despite the surgery, she bodies an adorable gummy smile that the fans notice to love with large apples of the cheeks. she sports multiple ear piercings up and down her left ear and two lobes on her right. her fellow trainees have an inside joke that bohyung's a natural blonde, due to the multiple shades she's experimented with throughout the years, and with skin more on the fair side to compliment. she only started sporting her natural brown just before debut, which seemed backwards to her, until she's back to blonde for bim bam bum era. her most defining point, is her beauty mole right under her left eye, which is hard to see until the makeup artists define it. also, it would not be bohyung without her sporting her rbf: resting face. she also sports a right ear filled with piercings and a tiny star tattoo behind her left ear.

bohyung would describe her style as so many different aesthetics wrapped up in one. but mainly her style is edgy at the core. though she would not go as far as emo (or e-girl or whatever the slang was back then), but she definitely takes major inspiration from grungecore with a even mixture of streetwear. this means oversized pants/jeans, oversized tees with classic hiphop artists she has no clue about, tiny crop tops to contradict her large flarred pants, layered silver jewlery, chokers, lots of chains, and lots and lots of black. doc martens and jordans for when she actually starts making money. bohyung is not one to stray from the darker color palette of black, brown, grey, burgandy, red, dark green, and white as an accent.
though being edgy, she would not consider herself something of a tomboy. she can be girly. but if you show her something that is of cottagecore or softgirl aestethics (the slang from 20 years ago is coming back). she can spice it up for when she wants to go all out. she'll often do something she calls dark glam; snakeskin (shirts, skirt, shorts), silk shirts (only in her specific color palette), her favorite one pair of thigh high boots, and dramatic eye makeup she likes to experiment with. this side of her style is ususally what the stylists take inspiration from for her more eccentric stage outfits.

ELABORATION
first impression of bohyung is... strong. which is not always a positive thing. it's either strong or "she's a ". bohyung is as aloof as an ice princess, queen of the resting face; she hardly ever let's anyone in. so if your thinking the two of you could hit it off immediately, you would be disappointed. she's as independant as they come and likes to walk the journey of life as a lone ranger. the people in her life that are close to her would tell you how long it took for her to open up to them, and she still isn't that forthcoming to her loved ones. she's a textbook intj; very to herself and by herself. some call her ceo or boss kim because of how professionally, systematically, and transactionally bohyung views relationships. she's a lone wolf whose always had a plan and cannot afford to wait for others to catch up to her.

but bohyung is not only a villan to this story. she is a textbook tsundere: calm, quiet, stoic, but also silently always taking care of the ones she loves. it is caught fancam moments of her passing a specifically looking tired member a waterbottle without facing them, or covering them with blanket when they pass out. she's not a robot, she does care about people, just in a logical, practical way. she may not be empathetic, but her her calm and 'silent, but strong' aura allows her to be comforting; she's always willing to sit in silence with you when you need it. that's because she values true loyalty. keeping people grounded when they need it, and offering realistic advice. that way you can always tell she's being sincere and honorable. she is also considerate, something other's don't think about too often. it's evident in the way how she's the one that mainly keeps the dorm that clean. it is evident when she makes choices that does not bother others or gets in their way. bohyung is big on not being inconvenienced or being the inconveniencer.
BACKGROUND
ever since bohyung was old enough to walk, she knew what her destiny was. it was apparent when her family would always pull out the old family tapes and watch as bohyung would try to hog the camera to do a routine or sing a nursery rhyme. she always wanted to perform.
though born into a lower middle class family that had everything they needed, but not much of what they wanted, especially since bohyung's grandmother gets sick and moves in with them when she's just a toddler. bohyung would hardly see her parents as they were working longer than any other parents normally would to keep a decent roof over them as well as take care of her dying grandmother and her medical bills. she was only nine years old, but she understood why her parents were always in and out and exhausted. who was she to complain when she's the one that had it easy. at most she would help her grandmother out with simple things, with the help of her older sister.
she felt selfish to want to leave. to want a dream and pursue it. but at the same time, she saw her dreams as a way out. so she wouldn't feel stuck anymore. bohyung immediately stopped feeling this way once her grandmother spent her last week of life in a hospital. on the second to last day before her death, her grandmother tells her to go for it. "don't hold back because of me or anyone else," she tells her. "the only way to get what you want out of life is to do it," her grandmother advises her while holding her hand. she dies that same week.
and with that bohyung seeks out a plan: self-practice at home a little more then audition for bm entertainment's december semiannuals. it was only bm entertainment in bohyung's eyes. the company that created mega girl group, fortuna. though she does this in secret, without prior knowledge to her family or permission from her parents. they were too busy. also she wanted to make sure that she could even get in. and of course, with her raw talent in vocals and confidence in dancing, she did.
her parents did not necessarily approve of the path she wanted to take, but they knew they couldn't stop her. they knew this was the only thing she wanted. they allowed her to train with the company with the agreement that she would keep up with school and still help around the house. it was a done deal for bohyung. she was one step closer to her dream when she started training at 14 years old.

TRAINEE YEARS: five years (2031-2036)
TRAINEE LIFE: it's no secret that she lost her childhood to trainee life. and despite being so young, she knew this. she knew exactly what she wanted out of this. so she worked hard. and every trainee objectively "works hard", but while others would take a well deserved break and hang with their friends while getting midnight convenience store snacks, bohyung would deny their offers and go over the monthly evaluation choreography again, or practice singing techniques so that she could nail that run. aww, the way she would feel when she would nail it, and nail it to her standard of degree. whew!
on the flip side, this level of perfectionism led to many stressful, unhealthy coping mechanisms. for the most part, she kept to herself, hardly having a support system or someone to just talk to. this led to many nights alone and many lonely breakdowns. but bohyung is anything if not diligent. she never let it get the best of her, only using the pressure and stress to fuel her to put in more hours. it all paid off knowing she was the best choice as main vocalist for the possible next girl group lineup.

BIA this is actually the stage name she would've rather had in cherie, if it were up to her. while searching up possible stage names, excited for her debut, she came across the word 'bia', which translates as power, force, and raw energy in greek. all the words she would like to described as a performer.
FAKE BACKSTORY: she doesn't prefer to talk about it (obviously), but when pried she says that her family owns a private company. no specifics, of course. she hints that she is of a high-middle class status and that her family is well known within their neighborhood and social circle, which is why they would rather not have so much attention on them, and in turn, their "business". of course, striking up some questions from the nosy, in-depth, obsessed fans (read: saesangs) that tried very hard to find this so-called business. she becomes aware of this because of social media where she also makes a statment: "leave my family, alone" in her typical cut-throat tone, making fans back off... for the most part.
LIFE IN THE PAST: to say bohyung had an easier adjustment than maybe any of the other members of cherie, would be an understandment. let's say... she was kind of thriving. yes, while time traveling to the past where you never existed was frieighting, none the least, bohyung was the member to adjust to her new life. sure, there were a few things she missed like her phone, technologies, and her family (except her sister of course), but she must admit that the music was better. and knowing how fortuna's career turns out to be massive, bohyung finds comfort in that. while she feels somewhat offput that technically this is not her success.... it is though... right? so like bohyung does... she tries harder so that she is worthy of the success of fortuna. but she's only human, and what has happened can take a toll on a person.

altthough the other members see past brain as brash, explosive opportunist, bia admires this past side of him. she looks up and respects him probably the most. especially since even in her 5 years within bm entertainment, she hardly knew him intimately. bohyung is grateful in that she got to go back in time. and though the girls are suspicious of him and how they time traveled, she doesn't care. she agrees that they should just take this opportunity at hand regardless. she really respects her past and future ceo and wants to become like him. though she does enjoy this more audacious side of him.
SEO YIHYUN
really awkward for her. she also did not know yihyun deeply in the future. so meeting him the past, she notices his very kind considerate nature. nothing wrong with that, but as a coo, she felt that yihyun lacked a backbone. even though she is way younger than the man, she felt bad for him. she respected him, but in a very minimum way. cut to the past, and her secret relationship with ethan, which yihyun eventually finds out about. and even then doesn't bohyung really talk to him about it, its really all ethan begging his brother to keep quiet about it. and of course with his personality, willing to do anything for ethan's happiness, he agress to keep quiet. from then on, it's even more awkward when yihyun and bia are in the same room together. but ultimately she is most appreciatve of the man.

bia mainly just loves ssaem saemi's clear preference for her. being the best vocalist out of the girls gives her an advantage that she loves. and bohyung tries to pretend she doesn't care when saemi compliments her, but obviously she enjoys it. and it unfortunately furthurs her "i am better than everyone" mindset. saemi is her favorite trainer to say the least.

bia has met her match. it's not that she doesn't respect or like ssaem jiyoung. but their personalities are too much alike, therefore they clash. jiyoung can be kinda of calculating and rude when training the girls, instilling fear and respect into trainees. but it rubs bia the wrong way becuase it's like looking into a mirror. jiyoung is also the one to quickly call anyone out or shut someone down. including bia.
