….randomly brainstorming word combinations in class when I was like 14. It means I was bored and other than that it has no meaning

not even gonna mention it bcs I’m so mf embarrassed of it!!!! peace

quick TMI about the story tho – I remember starting it before the day of my physics and bio final at school (2 separate exams on the same day)! I was super stressed and had just finished reading some other ???? teacher/student fic that I immediately went MAN! I wanna write something like this TOO! And that’s where I went wrong

3. Why did you pick your user photo/thumbnail?

Don’t have one LOL I’ve just been chillin on this site for nearly 8 years with the AFF equivalent of the Twitter egg

4. Who is your AFF bestie?

Bro all my old besties have left me after I disappeared for 3 years bro but!! I do have 2 readers who I ended up being IRLs with so they are my AFF besties even if they don’t know it LOL <33 shoutout to  Mixconceptions & parkcorn_ hehe!!

5. Is there a fanfic that you keep going back to read again and again?

Only one – a BTS Jungkook roommate au by tayegi HAHAH. I think it’s called Roommates?

Idk I don’t have time to read these days so when I do have time to read I prefer to read published novels buttttt always open to recs especially exo/oc pls!! (especially underrated ones cuz I’ve probably gone through everything from vanillasushi)

Present day?

I don’t know how to accurately answer this because other than the 2 stories I’m currently juggling right now I haven’t written anything else in so long. I also wouldn’t count my older stories because I haven’t touched them in >5 years and I wouldn’t write anything like them anymore?? And for stories going forward – I also have a different au planned for each. Ummm.

For the sake of an answer let’s just say office au!!

8. How many friends do you have?

990 technically bcs idk so many people added me back then and i was just like ok yeah sure idc hahah!

But honestly these days I’ve got like, at most 10 friends who are active I think?? The bulk of it are (I believe) just inactive readers who gradually left when I went MIA too

9. Is there something you'd like to write about but are afraid of people judging you for it? (Feeling brave? If so, share it!)

Not that I can think of right now?? I’ve probably (definitely) been judged for what I’ve written before though so I think we’re past that phase already. And tbh these days I find myself just thinking of “calmer” themes hahah

10. Is there anything you would like to be better at on aff? Writing, graphic design (posters), replying to comments, updating regularly, etc..?

I think I’m ok at writing itself but where I is!! PLOTTING!! So I definitely want to get better at that – if anyone reading has any tips I’d love for you to share 

Aaand replying to comments. I know my update schedule (or lack of one) but I wouldn’t say updating because I’m already trying my best with what time allows here

I hate being asked this LOOL this is so embarrassing to answer because the number is HUGE but it is not at all reflective of my current active subscribers today after the time I played dead for 3 yrs straight!!

9! Including 1 graphics shop + a bunch of old oneshots I set to draft because now I hate them all <3

Ok idk where the I wrote TPOHAST because for the life of me I can’t find the old chapter files?? And idk where some of those old oneshots went either?? Also, I don’t even have the first chapter of RHI even though that one’s fairly recent!

Other than that I haven’t really started anything else. God knows why 2013/14 trish had no concept of proper file storage but now she finally does woohoo!

14. Do you write down story ideas, or just keep them in your head?

I write them down on my phone’s notes app! I usually get ideas when I’m on-the-go or in the middle of something so usually I only have my phone around because how else can I achieve 8 hours of average screen time each week

No. I’ve been asked but I feel like I’ll just hate it lol

An ANCIENT suju fic by Sujudork602 (? If I got that right). Then I stayed for huntress

At least around 2015/17 for a bit?? also maybe not in a very good way HAHA but it is what it is

Huntress hahah!! I’m such a fan of the way her characters just have so. Much. Chemistry that it immediately make me want to make my own too!

Just read some good books/fics and write write write don’t think too much about it

Not recently, but yes ma’am! Tbh I don’t really remember but uhhh I think it depends on the comment – if they made sense then I’d take it into account but try to explain my POV. but honestly it probably involved me getting mad too back then loool now I'm not as touchy tho

24. Is there a certain type of scene that you have a hard time writing? (action, , etc..)

Recently I wrote a longass argument scene and that took me AGES

25. What story(s) are you working on now?

Incredible things & Rumour Has It aka the same two I’ve been stuck with since literally 2017, somebody end them (or me) for me please

26. Do you plan your next project(s) before you finish your current ongoing story(s)?

Back then, I used to get ideas for new stories before finishing anything I’m currently writing but no, I don’t do any planning. For IT I jumped right into the first chapter and started it on my phone while waiting for my sister at her lesson so that’s why plotwise IT is a mess :))

Other than that, RHI was supposed to be a oneshot so no I didn’t really plan anything in advance either.

But now – I think I will! I’ll do some outline planning at least before starting anything like a responsible adult

27. Do you have a daily writing goal set for yourself?

Not really it’s just on days where I do decide to write I’m like ok you gotta write at least up to this scene please if not you’ll never get rid of IT and man that thought scares me

(I’m jk I love IT I just can’t wait to wrap it up and start sth new now)

28. Do you think you've improved as a writer since you first started?

Hahaha there is a special place in hell for 2013 – early 2015 me’s writing <3

29. What is your favorite story that you've written?

Because I haven’t written that many… I’d say Incredible Things! Yes plotwise it’s a mess and there’s so many things I could’ve done better but at the end of the day I’m so attached to the main characters! I’m tempted to use the name Seo Iseul for the rest of my fics starring Kai/Jongin because that’s how closely I’ve associated them together already. I want to continue inserting Jongguk in little cameo appearances in future fics too! Idk!!

Also, IT is such an expansive writing exercise for me! That fic is probably an inventory of almost all the words I know in English. It’s also when I started to plan bit by bit. I think writing IT also led to find my true writing style. But also in addition to all that I feel like IT is just so… me? I know this isn’t how fics should be lol but I feel like the writing really reflects shifts in my maturity, personality, dislikes, and fantasies throughout the years… this isn’t the best for quality but as the one writing it, it’s so heartwarming to see how I’ve grown through the years haha.

30. What is your least favorite story that you've written?

Mmm can’t pick, that teacher/student fic probably or one of its spin-off oneshots.

31. Where do you see yourself (as a writer) in 5 years?

Hopefully still writing despite being in a completely unrelated career field! hopefully writing something “meatier” or “deeper” like family or finding yourself or something like that idk.

Being able to hit backspace whenever you need to! This isn’t a real time gig like talking is that’s why like walk the moon said, talking is hard

Just writing without checking my twitter/insta every 3 seconds!! I need to look at the thesaurus every so often and apparently my brain is incapable of doing just that without getting distracted

35. Why do you write?

Because it’s fun!! You can make anything happen, it’s like playing God and I love it! And because I always need some sort of creative outlet. i realized this piece last year in 2020 when i was working so hard during an internship and my stress level was at an all-time high. turns out writing is so relaxing to me, it gets me in a state of flow and I’ve got too many budding ideas to not do it 💖
