everyone's ditched me. i dont rly believe in "besties" but i talk to jessica (once valiently known as sicaday21 before she deactivated), korekrypta, luv_kero the most these days and they have been some of my longest friends i've known/met on aff! honourable mention to sooyoung2345 who won't finish afd, even if i still have a bit of hope left. she's too busy for me but never fails to call me out for simping on twitter

5. Is there a fanfic that you keep going back to read again and again?

wow, it's still attayear? but yes, attayear. i'm rereading it rn. soon to be tbbc and borderlander. also rereading cutlass and xmts so i can edit those mfs LMAO

fantasy, and very surprisingly slice of life/coming of age! recently discovered why i was so drawn to slice of life and coming of age hahaha

not really afraid of being judged, per say, but mental health is a topic that i've wanted to tackle but don't think i have enough experience or have done enough research to explore and portray correctly. i think it's much more than "trying my hand" at it which is why i'm hesitant, but i do want to be able to do enough research and portray it properly.

10. Is there anything you would like to be better at on aff? Writing, graphic design (posters), replying to comments, updating regularly, etc..?

updating something that isn't part of the cut trilogy

keep em in my head with the misguided belief i'll remember the details, then cry myself to sleep the next day when i've forgotten everything

I think it was actually a fic discontinued on Wattpad and the author had AFF so I tried to find the fic on AFF buT IT WAS ALSO DISCONTINUED ON AFF but then i started reading on here --> same answer as last time

korey!! one of the first people i talked to on aff and thoroughly embarrassed myself. i still embarrass myself in front of her, but have gotten over the shame. v encouraging :)

the amount of shet i've bs'd is so funny. what you're reading is practically real-time me panicking

i haven't gotten rude comments in a while, but ppl have picked fights with me, i used to lash out :') . now i just block if they're being ridiculous. v easy and efficient way to get rid of stress, especially if they insist on being a troll.

24. Is there a certain type of scene that you have a hard time writing? (action, , etc..)

kiss scenes lmao

I'm always super excited to write them and I'm like, "aw, this is going to be cute" and then I start writing and I'm like wow, end me please?

prodigy, serendipitous (soon!!), a few cutlass drabbles + xmts bonus chapter, having a FIELD DAY working thru the q&a, and hopefully every frayed edge soon too

27. Do you have a daily writing goal set for yourself?

not anymore. my life has fallen apart since uni. good day.

28. Do you think you've improved as a writer since you first started?

yes!! it's very encouraging to look back, because i didn't realize how much my writing has changed until i saw. i consider cutlass as relatively "recent", but, at the risk of sounding like a snob, i think my writing has improved a lot since then which makes me really happy. and it really is just something that comes with practice and feedback, imo.

29. What is your favorite story that you've written?

cutlass, still! i was very wordy back then LOL and repetitive, but i'm still very proud of baekhyun and hei's character arcs, namely how they tied together in the . (spoiler) bbh not being the one to kill his father (a moment that the entire story has been leading up to), rather choosing hei as more important + hei saving the person she loves despite being told she was useless and couldn't do it—one of my fav es i've written. also two of my fav characters i've written, they are my children. the cutlass series is v dear to me tbh

30. What is your least favorite story that you've written?

fkn fearless. that fic gave me fear ffs

31. Where do you see yourself (as a writer) in 5 years?

hopefully still writing ahahahaha

33. What is the easiest thing about writing?

word vomit. when i get to a scene i've been excited for, i just puke words. acc having to edit that mess? a nightmare.

34. What is the hardest thing about writing?

not opening sns every 3 seconds! i also find describing action scenes hard because it's very easy to become repetitive, so sometimes i have to consult a thesaurus in case i use the word "lunged" 19 times in 2 paragraphs.

35. Why do you write?

because i like to! and because i very much love telling stories and worldbuilding, i guess
