Since my sixth year anniversary in this site is just around the corner, I thought it’d be fun for me to do this. I have been wanting to blog about this kind of thing and since I’m done with my report, might as well use this chance to accomplish this. Haha. No one’s going to read this but I want to look back at this blog few years from now. :)

 

Also, I tweaked this a bit since, you know, I don’t like lengthy stuffs. I deleted some questions. I apologize in advance to the one who came up with this.

1. Describe your comfort zone

 

I guess it’s angst. Most of you know it anyway. XD I also like writing suspense but it’s been awhile since I wrote one?

 

2. Is there a trope you’ve yet to try your hand at, but really want to?

 

It is my dream to become a better writer in terms of fantasy. I have been considering a spin-off from Lucifer’s First Love hahaha the heck, I just realized I’m not answering the question. XD

 

I would like to give wolf!au a shot. But I’m afraid that there are already many fics here with that au so…

 

3. Is there a trope you wouldn’t touch with a ten-foot pole?

 

Yuri. I have considered but I can’t just bring myself to write it. I read sometimes though (very rare occurrence). It’s Kaisoo, you guys? How can I resist not reading it? HAHA.

 

4. How many fic ideas are you nurturing right now? Care to share one of them?

 

My brain is always b with ideas lol. Sadly, time is not on my side. I have manyyyyyyy fics I want to write. I am very excited for Destiny though.

 

I checked my files and found this: (this is for the first chapter of Psycho’s Obsession. I can’t still find my mojo to continue it.)

 

A man of handsome features, Baekhyun possesses an angelic face but he's petrifying at the same time.

 

He gave me a discreet and bloodcurdling smirk which caused my body to become paralyzed. Attempting to smile back, I could feel my lips trembling as I stared at his dark eyes.

 

The psycho captured my chin in a rough manner. I couldn't help but feel weak in my knees, yet, strangely, I wanted more.

I had to browse through the list of stories I’ve posted here in AFF. Haha. I don’t have an answer to this…

 

 

8. Share a snippet from one of your favorite dialogue scenes you’ve written and explain why you’re proud of it.

 

I wouldn’t say that this is my favorite but it was the second time I wrote a historical!au and this scene made me cry buckets of tears. This oneshot is like the mother of The Emperor’s Weakness.

 

This was the part the OC discovered that the Emperor loves her but it was already too late.

 

Why are you saying all of these to me now?!” I screamed at the grand general after hearing the truth.

 

“I tried to believe… that the love you have for him will win over the hatred. But I guess you poured him the poison in the end…”

 

“But he… The emperor—“

 

“He was never greedy for the throne to have more power. He was just a man in love… And he wanted to protect the woman that he loves even if it means to self-destruct, abandon everyone and kill himself…”

 

“Bring me back, now! This instant!”

“Your h-highness—!” It took us more than half an hour to go back. Yoongi was by now sweating a lot while his lips were tainted red with his own blood. I approached his weak body that was lying on the floor.

 

“Emperor! P-Please your highness, wake up!!!” He slowly opened his lids and I cried as I rested his head on my lap.

 

“Is this the after-l-life…?” He coughed blood and I desperately wiped the liquid with my own garment. I can see the aftermaths of his tears.

 

I bit my lip, brushing his tears away.

 

“It might be the afterlife… B-Because—“ He coughed another set of blood. His tissues are slowly corroding because of the poison. “you will never touch my face like this…”

 

“Yoongi… Why? Why did you hide everything from me? You dimwit!”

 

“And now, you’re calling me by name… I certainly missed how you called me dimwit…” He tried to laugh but the pain stopped him from doing so.

 

“Don’t speak much!” I yelled. Yoongi’s breathing was becoming shaky and short. Full of haste, I pulled a vial from my cloth.

 

“Don’t we deserve to be together?” I put the liquid in my mouth then I kissed Yoongi in the lips. Our eyes fluttered close as we shared the bloody kiss. Supposedly it should taste metallic, but for the first time, his lips tasted sweet.

 

Yoongi smiled in the kiss. How come his dream felt so real? He’s thankful that the Almighty gave him a good dream instead of a nightmare before dying. And in this dream, he wasn’t the one who initiated the kiss but his lover… How he wished it was true…

 

I continued to kiss the emperor as my body collapsed with him. Slowly and weakly, our bodies lost the ability to move.

 

“I… love y-you, Yoongi…” I said with the last energy I had.

 

“I love you… m-more…” The Emperor responded and my tears doubled as I saw him smiling when his last tears rolled off from his closed eyes.

 

Just like that, I have lost the most important person in my life.

 

When plotting revenge, two graves are dug.

 

One for who has sinned and for the other who wants to be tainted by the same sin.

 

Time cannot be reversed, only regrets are left in this unfair world.

 

The moment I decided to exact vengeance, I have received this agonizing curse.

 

It is my punishment for being blind and for not seeing what’s important.

 

I pray that in our next time, he will be blessed with a blissful life.

 

Like the willow tree that lived proudly and beautifully, may his next life be filled with happiness and glee.

9. Which fic has been the hardest to write?

 

Losing my mojo is hard. I need to write the fic while the feels are flowing within my veins. So I’d say, ALL.

 

 

10. Which fic has been the easiest to write?

 

I Think I’m In Love. I finished the story in like, 3 months???

 

 

11. Is writing your passion or just a fun hobby?

 

Just a fun hobby. I don’t want to write for a living or for a career because I want it to be fun. I don’t want to get pressured. HAHA.

 

 

12. If you could choose one of your fics to be filmed, which would you choose?

 

OMG. I love this question. I can’t choose one. I always imagined My Two Faced Hon would become a movie and Luhan will star in it lol.

 

Another one would be Destiny. I am literally holding on for the plot twist… Ugh. I wanna write it as soon as possible. But it’s not easy to write historical fics. I need to be in a certain mood…

 

 

13. Do you write your story from start to finish, or do you write the scenes out of order?

 

 In order.

 

14. Do you use any tools, like worksheets or outlines?

 

I usually message myself for random sentences and lines but no, I don’t use any tools.

 

15. Stephen King once said that his muse is a man who lives in the basement. Do you have a muse?

 

I know this is not much of a good example but I feel as though sometimes, I’m like Sensui.

16. Describe your perfect writing conditions.

 

Perfect mood, privacy, gloomy weather, dark room, writing using a well-functioning laptop while listening to music.

 

17. How many times do you usually revise your fic/chapter before posting?

 

Once or twice? But I still leave some errors and that HAHA.

 

 

18. Choose a passage from one of your earlier fics and edit it into your current writing style.

 

This is so interesting but I’m too lazy right now haha. I’d probably edit ALL my older fics.

 

 

19. How do you feel about collaborations?

 

I once did a collaboration with my favorite author but then she got busy with med school so… we didn’t get to finish it. I would love to try it again but not with how busy I am…

anonymous_j - Closing my eyes, I began to imagine a typical scene from four years ago. I was so stressed with life so I wanted to distract myself by visiting this website. I came across a fic about Kyungsoo. It’s a werewolfau and since I was quite new to fanfics, I had no idea about what to expect. I instantly fell in love with the author’s style of writing and I even checked out her page to subscribe to her other stories. I was blushing as I scanned her list and I squealed in happiness once I find out that she also writes other genres about my bias. She is so good in writing and I secretly wish that she could also write BTS stories. Because I was such a fangirl, this favorite author of mine finally noticed me and I was surprised to know that we are from the same country. She’s now busy with school and I completely understand that. Whenever I miss her, she’s just a chat away or I’ll just indulge myself with rereading Concordis, The Butler, etc. XD HAHAHA!

 

vanillasushi - And then there’s this really popular author. I used to think that my comments will be left unrecognized but I was proven wrong when she started to give responses to each comment. I really love how she writes and gosh, she’s so good at the English language! I wish I had skills like her. And the fluff! She’s so good at fluff! And also ! I believe that most of us admired her for being an author with great skills. Now, no matter how I miss her stories, I can never read them again because she has deactivated. I can’t believe I took her for granted. I can’t believe that there’ll come a day that I will lose access to her fics. It’s sad. But the only fic I could reread is His Dark Side. And for that, I am thankful. *NOTE: she came back already hehe*

 

Lucidbunny – I discovered a new fanfic and although Sehun isn’t my bias, I read it anyway. The author was so active in updating and I swear I look forward to reading her updates because I was so freaking hooked. OH MY GOSH. She’s not only great with writing , she’s also good in writing a suspenseful/mysterious kind of fanfic. I was crazy about The Imaginary Friend. I do talk to her on twitter at times but I’m too busy and she’s also busy with work. She has deactivated before but I’m genuinely happy that she’s back and some of her fics are accessible. Thank you!!! *NOTE: I think she has deactivated again…*

 

To the three of you and to the other authors that I like, I just want to express how thankful and blessed I am because I was able to read your masterpieces. In my opinion, without you guys, this site will never be the same. I miss 2015-2016. I miss the year when I was showered with updated fictions. I wish I could go back to that time. Now, I can only reminisce and smile sadly as I think about the past.

 

I sincerely miss my favorite authors…

Definitely AFF. I considered wattpad, ao3, and tumblr but this site worked best for me.

Long and short comments, they always make my day. Most especially during the days I’m super down…

It made me want to stop writing at one point. Right now, I’m like: meh.

I still have to write it!!! I want to write the SAD ENDING of this fic so I won’t share it here. Hehe.
