Hey there all!!

Wow it's been a while right? Almost year yet again, not counting the questionnaire, and here we are. So much has gone on since my last update and I decided it was time to finally post again. First, I hope all is well with you, your friends and your family. I hope you're safe, happy, and healthy. This last year has been tough, I worked throughout the entire pandemic and I was extremely lucky to have not gotten sick or any of my family members, sadly, some of my co-workers weren't as lucky, but everyone is doing better now. I got my vaccine and I'm feeling more hopeful that things will start to go back to "normal" for the world in the coming months.  

Now onto writing, which is why we're here right? I've been trying to keep busy with writing, but I've been working so much, esp here lately since we're extremely short staffed at work (as per usual, my job is always ALWAYS short-staffed. but this is the worst it's been in the 6 yrs I've been there), so they've upped my hours more than they're supposed to because we don't have anyone, resulting in me not having many days off and being exhausted at the end of the day. Grateful for the job don't get me wrong, but I am fast approaching burnout, yet again. That being said, I do miss writing and I'm trying hard to write when I can. I have done a couple short stories, which was fun, but I've always been working on my two wip's and have made some progress.  

I did decide to keep going with the "Indulge Me" Series, I need to just finish it up. I want to finish it and I know there are some readers out there who want to see it to the end and so I will finish. A HUGE thanks to all who voted in the poll and who left comments, it really helped me to decide what to do and I appreciate your thoughts and value your opinions. With that in mind, I am working on Hongbin's story, made a fair amount of progress and I will be posting some teasers at the bottom as thanks to those who are reading for their continued patience while waiting for me to get my together with it. It is coming along better than I had expected, I did have to end up outlining just a bit because I had no direction with it really, this part is really proving to be my most challenging of the series thus far, I hope you'll feel it was worth the wait in the end, I promise I'm trying my best. To those reading this that are currently not reading my "Indulge Me" series, I make another humble recommendation to consider reading one of the parts. You don't have to be a VIXX fan to enjoy it I think (readers of the series correct me if I'm wrong though please, I don't put anything in it that references them as a music group), but I feel the storyline is unique and fun and you may really enjoy it. If you're into supernatural in the form of a love slave and AU, with romance, drama, and angst, it may be right up your alley!

I am also still working on Kyu Jong's story, those reading that not to worry, I have not forgotten about him and Kayla. I was at a rather boring part to write and I'm just about done with that and hopefully, I'll be getting to the good stuff soon. I may need to cut out a bit of unnecessary bulk to speed things up a bit, but nothing that will take away from the story or whatnot, so no worries there. 

Next, thank you to all new subscribers!! It's always so surprising when I see I got a new story follower, I'm always grateful for anyone who reads my stories, the fact that you chose to follow me and see when I update or post a new story, blows my mind.  If you happen to be one of the three new subscribers I've gotten in the last few months reading this, thank you for joining! I hope I don't disappoint and I hope you enjoy the stories here! 

Lastly, on a slightly unrelated note, I finally created an account at AO3. There's a TON of fic there wow, of all kinds. I'm just a reader there for now, but I am debating on posting there, not sure if I'm going to since everything is already here, but eh, I dunno. If anyone is on AO3 here let me know and I'll subscribe to you!

- “I don’t consider myself attractive, it’s people like you, shallow and superficial people…society that decides what’s attractive or not. Just like you choose to only carry my size in your sham of a store!” She almost yelled, past insecurities and anger rising to the surface.

Rovix’s smile slowly faded, his expression growing somber, sad and he stared into her eyes, “I’ve finally found you at last.”

She blinked, taken off guard by his sudden mood change. He looked relieved and a bit worried as he looked her over again.

“What?”

“I’ve been waiting for you, it seems like it’s been forever. I had no idea,” he said quietly, shaking his head in what appeared to be awe.

“Huh? Waiting for me? What?”

“Please wait here one moment,” he said suddenly, bowing before turning and briskly walking away.

She frowned, what was going on? What did he mean waiting for her? She had to get out of there, she knew it now. Turning she started towards the door once more, crying out again when once again, Rovix appeared in front of her, this time with something in his hands.

“Like I said, you can’t leave until you get what you came here for.”

Her eyes widened, her heart dropping. She looked as he held out what looked like a navy-blue scarf in front of her.

“All this time he’s been waiting, waiting for you.”

“What? What are you talking about? Who’s been waiting for me? I don’t understand what you mean.”

“It’s time, time for you to make this right. Time for you to free him, time for you to help him to understand and realize. You will break his heart, you will make him long and ache…but you will also teach him just as he will teach you,” Rovix said cryptically.

- “It is real, I promise you all of this is real. There is no scam, I am your love slave and you are my jeongbu and this is all for you.”

She felt herself falling for it, realizing quick that nothing will happen unless she agrees to whatever this was, and she would allow for it, under one condition.

“Fine, I’ll believe you and go along with…whatever this is, but I have one request in order for me to…bind or whatever.”

“Anything jeongbu…” Hongbin bowed.

She stared at him hard, her hands up, “I want someone else.”

Slowly he lifted his head to look at her, “jeongbu?”

“Give me someone else. I want a normal, average-looking man. I want him to be basic and down-to-earth, humble, I don’t want anyone like you. You want me to bind? Then fine, but not with you, give me someone else,” she said coldly.
