APPEARANCE his sharp facial features does make him look cold and unapproachable. he also has the lonewolf, rebel vibes. however, his personaility is a lot more amiable from his appearance.
on a normal day, his hair is usually messily parted with light bangs in a 6:4 ratio. for special occasions, he'll use some gel to comb his hair more upward. currently his hair is black. previously he has dyed his hair brown, blond, platinium, and light pink. one day, he does want to try an ashy blue color.

► at first impression lake doesn't seem like the most approachable person only because his sharp facial features.
► that image doesn't last very long, once someone makes meets eyes with him even if from afar or unintentionally he'll flash a smile and greet them with a nod. people who are complete stranger end up taken back.
► lake's friends and acquaintances know him as a friendly and chill guy. a conversation with him flows very well, he always seem interested in getting to know others. he'll enthusiatically agree with others' suggestions, "sure let's do it!"
► very much a go-getter kind of person. if he wanted to do something isn't afraid to attempt to turn his ideas into reality. although sometimes those ideas can be quite ambitious. what's life without giving ideas a try even if it dosen't work out. highly curious and doesn't hesitate to go outside his comfort zone. depending on the person they may call him spontaneous others may consider him reckless
► despite seeming like a calm person, lake is surprisingly quite chatty. doesn't help that he frequently gets sidetracked. he'll switch from topic to topic just whatever catches his attention. someone needs to nudge or steer him back to the topic if they needed to get something done.
► his schedules is often all over the place. sometimes people wonder how he ever gets things done or keep his commitments. the one who complains about the workload and procastinates but, always manages to finish before the deadline

LIFESTYLE
lake wakes up at 7am, eats breakfast prepared by his roommate, theo. he brushes his teeth, showers, and changes before hitting the gym for an hour before class. he grabs a cup of coffee to get through the day. in between classes he gets lunch with his friends. at the end of the day, after classes and work he starts on homework, has dinner, plays PC or video games with theo in the living room. on friday and saturday, after his class/shift he hangouts with his friends to the parties at night. on sunday, he is pretty much free the whole day. usually lake would hangout with friends in the basketball courts, at each other's apartments, or at cafes. sometimes he'll work on homework or study for an upcoming exam.

roommate / theo jang / 21 / biology major
lake and theo hit it off very well since they began as roommates in their first year. they moved into an off campus housing together now in their third year. they spend a lot of their free time together whether that is at home playing PC or video games or out in the basketball courts. even if they busy they always eat dinner and breakfast together. as lake would say, theo makes the best food and lake, himself can't cook very well. their personaility balances each other out. theo doesn't always encourage lake's recklessness but, doesn't completely kill his optismism. most of the time they have lots of fun together.

since theo is a biology major, he visited the nature center quite often. because of that lake accompanied theo a few times and met poppy there. they really have only exchanged short conversations. he sees her as someone who is very bright and pure. they have their differences which they could learn from the other. unlike him, poppy is someone who organizes and plans things through. he definately sees what a driven person she is. on the other hand, lake encourages her to relax and not stress to much in order to lessen burnout. but above all, they're both people who like getting to know others. lake matches her bright energy well and always gives her an encourgaing smile and enthusiatic reactions to when she tries to initiate a hangout.
WELCOME TO THE PRE-AUDITION INTERVIEW!
"hi! my name's poppy kang, we spoke over the phone! let's jump right in— why'd you wanna join the band?"
► "hi, i'm lake moon" he greets her with a smile. "my name sounds like a character from an animated series doesn't it?" he says with a laugh. "i probably already mentioned it over the phone" poppy gave a smile and nod, "you did and you also mentioned making a cool name squad" lake recalled the conversation they had, "wouldn't it be fun to make a squad with people who have unique names like us?" poppy nods, "it just happens that the previous candidates i interviewed today also had unique names" lake brighten at the statement, "the more the merrier"
► "so, umm.. about the.." poppy starts, trying to steer him back the topic without being rude. "right, the question sorry i got carried away" lake says catching on. "i saw your flyer in the halls. i thought why not?" he says gesturing with his hands. "i used to produce music with my brother for fun back in high school. but, since my brother and i went our seperate ways for universities. i kind of stashed my hobby of music aside. i started again a few months ago but, it's no fun doing it alone. so, here i am," he says with a grin.
"awesome! that's super cool, what instruments do you play? do you sing at all?"
► "well, " he pauses for a bit. "i used to play the drums in middle school but, i wasn't that good or anything" he says waving his hands. "it's been a several years since i last praticed anyways. and my singing? you can say i'm tone deaf" lake says with a chuckle "i just enjoy singing for fun at the karaoke"
"wow! do you have any plans to write songs or lyrics, or produce songs for the band?"
► lake's eyes lit up at the question" production, yes. i would say that's my main and best contribution for the band" he says confidently. " i don't really know much about music composition though. i did co-write lyrics with my brother. if needed i can help out with lyrics but, it's not really my speciality."
"okay, great, nice... um... do... you have plans to hang out with the band after practices or..." poppy seems visibly nervous. "i mean, it's fine if you're busy! just wondering..." she lets out an awkward laugh.
► "i'm always down to hangout" lakes replies, not minding poppy's visible nervousness. "other than the music what's fun with a band if we don't hangout"
"o-oh, okay! um... anyway, uh... are you okay with, like, the group experimenting with genres and music and stuff? this is the last question, so..."
► "of course" lake answers confidently. "I'm open to experiment with all types of genre"
"okay! cool, nice, um... we'll be in touch! i'll let you know how it goes... see you at auditions!"
► "cool, I'll see you then" he says before getting up from his seat. "oh and if we meet on campus or during my shifts at the boba shop, don't be a stranger" lake says with a smile.
