STYLE. simple word to describe her style is girly rock look but also chic at the same time. looking at how she dressed, none would ever thought she's a young mom with one kid. she would go for a tartan or any kind of skater skirt as long as she feels comfortable, but also a belly top with short sleeves along with doc boots (pictures at those column beside personality section).

initially, dain was nothing more than an uncaring delinquent whose only friend seemed to be chaeyoung, while she wouldn't start fights, she would take deliberate pleasure in inflicting the most pain possible when facing her opponents, regularly resulting to cruel and unusual methods of punishment for her defeated enemies, showing a high amount of sadism. her temper is an ill-fated trait about her and sometimes even she hates it. she doesn't know where she got it from, though she believes it was from her father. it has always been there since she started going to school. she tried to control it at times but was only more quick-tempered as she got older. having jinwoo and being with him has been the only successful effort that helps soothe her quick fury.

as she having jinwoo, it should be noted that the obstacles dain has faced and the new friends she has gained have somewhat altered her personality. sometimes during those silent nights, dain smiled, knowing that she has their backs. she is now much easier to be around than she was when younger. but please take a note, if you harm her precious jinwoo, she won't guarantee those cruelty inside her won't come up again.

still, in her own twisted, roundabout way, she seems to care for the people that are close to her. and as much as dain hates it, she tends to listen to lectures very well. that's one of the reason why hayoon willing to give dain the second chance to join as the uni's student though she had some bad records on her. hayoon believed jinwoo has changed dain and this time, dain would take the chance well. another example of dain paying attention is when hayoon was lecturing her about using a pump so that jinwoo would still getting a milk during the time when dain work and attending classes.

dain learns how to put her pride aside and knows when to follow orders. an example was when hayoon offered her along with jinwoo to be listed in her card so that the older one could take care of her and her son. she also study dilligently like what hayoon told her.

dain is someone who people would consider honest. she isn't one to lie, she listens to others problems without picking sides. if someone asks her for her opinion, she gives it without lying. but even so, she hates when people's own insecurities get in their way of doing what she wants. she doesn't like to wait for people as well.

dain is almost always way to quick to trust people she doesn't really know without much hesitation. that's what brough her to jimin. she trusted him too much that she was swallowed by his sweet words. but even after all the things she had been going through, she still has this naive side on her.

she keeps shut unless it directly affects her or jinwoo. in dain's eyes, social demands are pointless. she doesn't have to return someone's greeting if she doesn't want to. when she wants to, it's genuine.

BACKGROUND.
phases are optional just give me at least a few paragraphs explaining your character's life growing up.

phase I

dain still believed in santa claus during her toddler years. one christmas, she waited all night with a camera by front door hoping to see santa claus. but rather than seeing a santa, she saw her parents fought instead. she eventually developed a fever afterward. later, she dreamt of seeing an old man with a red loincloth across the river, and apparently swam toward him to get presents while the old man was telling her no to come yet. dain actually had a near-death experience at that time due to her high fever. dain eventually learned that santa claus was not real and her parents really want a divorce but hindered by her existence when she was four years old.

phase II

during sixth grade, dain was approached by a classmate, son chaeyoung. upon being asked whether they can walk home together, dain simply told the girl to not stand behind her and continued on her way.

at that time, dain was known as the school's most feared bully or known as iljin. she'd kick anybody's that she find annoying. well, her parents didn't care about her. thus she decided to caused some trouble in hope her parents would start asking her about that and maybe it'll lead them to give her some care. in fact, they still act ignorant and won't even spent their energy to scold her whenever school call them because the trouble caused by their daughter. chaeyoung who didn't know about dain's backstory found the girl was really cool as she seemed like she isn't afraid of anything that make her want to be dain's friend.

when in the city, she realized that chaeyoung was still behind her and became annoyed. however, the girl relented on staying with her, so dain decided to let her stay anyway. however, she did warn chaeyoung not to stand behind her.

the two girls went to the arcade but later turned into a fight with group of girl (iljin) who claimed that they were the owner of that area. throughout the fights, she protected chaeyoung from the delinquents and even warned the girl not to stand in the back, otherwise it would be hard to protect her. nevertheless, dain goes out on a rampage and grinned evilly while having fun.

during school, she was asked by chaeyoung whether she always got into fights, which dain stated she did that eventually to gain her parent's attention. but since it seemed didn't bother them, she did that to let out all of her frustation in life.

dain later headed home during the afternoon once school had ended. on the way, she was approached by chaeyoung, who asked whether she was going to have another fight. surprised by the question, dain asked whether she had an issue about it.

however, they ended up getting into a brawl anyway, after chaeyoung stated that she would be the winner if one day the two getting into a fight. after beating up chaeyoung, dain became surprised by the young girl's endurance. afterward, chaeyoung told dain that she wanted to be her friend. dain revealed to chaeyoung that all of the friends that she did have ended up dragging her down and later leaving her. she then picked up her backpack and started leaving. however, she then noticed chaeyoung rise up and walk beside her. this leaves dain surprised but she ends up laughing out of happiness that she finally gain a genuine friend.

phase III.

she met a guy named jimin when she first got into college. at that time, she was no longer a mere bully. she did other small crimes such as pickpocket. dain met jimin when he literally hit her with his car. and as an apologize, jimin took her with him and then... they made out. dain like the attention. jimin just like being terrible. he bought dain clothes, but only so he can make her into whatever he wanted her to be. soon, they started to get the name as 'little bonnie and clyde'. well, jimin was no different than her, worse, to be honest.

she soon got pregnant and ran away from home with jimin. she uses the chance to get away from her parents. jimin knew this and she took advantage of her, used the chance to manipulate her. he wanted her to steal some money from her family with an excuse he'll use the money for them to move to a different city.

but it was a lie. soon after dain gave him the money, he left her alone. could you imagine how frustating the situation was for dain? her parents won't accept her again because she was pregnant by strangers and stole their money. she lived alone in jimin's old apartment. as a highschool graduate, she could only worked part time in various places. she didn't have a dare to tell chaeyoung about her condition either. she was so desperate to the point she ever passed jinwoo to some strangers and get money in exchange.

the time when she met hayoon was when she felt like she was blessed. hayoon was the only person who is kindly accept her. not only she helped her to get back to college and willing to pay for her tuition. she also gave her a job as the college's librarian and helped her find an apartment to live as dain refused to live in the same roof with hayoon's family.

1. hello! please introduce yourself and say a few fun facts about yourself. dain takes a few second to study the person in front of her. she notices the interviewer squirm a bit at the silence, before she finally saying, "young dain. currently retake all the classes from uni."

2. how many children do you have? what are their names? is there anything you want to say about them? their question again meets a growing amount of silence. "one baby boy." checks the interviewer's reaction. "his name is young jinwoo." she looks around the area. "comparing than me and his jerk father, jinwoo is fun to be around. he is like a gift to my twisted up life."

3. how old were you when you became a single parent? even though it is a simple question, but it is definitely not something dain was prepared for. however the interviewer gives her an encouraging smile. "twenty one."

4. at what point did you really realize you would have to take all the sole responsibilty of your child from now on? "his father was a jerk. he left me with nothing, not even a single 'goodbye'. and to be honest, i've tried to pass him to someone with better life compared than mine. but bad things always happened after. that time i realized jinwoo tied on me. and i probably need to take care of him for the rest of my life. but as time goes by, it wasn't as bad as i thought. in fact, now he is my fighting spirit to go through this hard life."

5. personally, what do you think is the hardest thing about being a single parent? there is a long silence before she answers, "taking care of someone isn't as easy as taking care your doll. back in the past i always said that i didn't care about him at all. but in fact, how can you not worry when his temperature got high, he kept crying and you didn't know what to do?"

6. what is one thing you want to tell people who have single parents or are a single parent themselves? dain forces a smile that doesn't quite reach her eyes. "for those who have single parents, you must say billions of thanks for them. it is really hard to playing both mother and father role at the same time. and for the single parents... hwaiting. life is hard but seeing our baby's smile is the most precious thing in this world, right?"

APPEARANCE. not a really tall guy, he stands at 179 cm with weights 66 kg. even so, he has so much power in his frame. he has straight hair that he currently keep short and brown eyes. jaebum is good looking and he knows it. his best feature is his luscious lips.
STYLE. jaebum likes his shirt close to his body as it defines his muscles. but then cover it up with jacket or blazer so girls would wondering does his muscle as good as those they can see a bit under his jacket. he can be a bit of fashionista as he likes to mix and match. even so, still, comfortable clothing that ends up making him look like a bad boy. he doesn't really care about pricing.

jaebum commonly displays an impassive demeanor, a character trait that he breaks only on rare occasions such as his interactions with jinwoo and later dain. towards jinwoo, he is very protective, acting as the role of the father and performing the task a father would such as taking him to play and bathing jinwoo. he often knows more about the current situation than any of the other people and is easily able to manipulate others into doing what he sees best.

he enjoys teasing dain, frequently makind snide remarks about her poor parenting skills. at the beginning of their meeting, he is openly disapproving of dain as jinwoo's mom. but as he get to know dain more, he becomes much more accepting and warmer toward her, even thanking her afterward for taking jinwoo back, though he still bickers with her.

when he started to develop romantic feelings toward dain, she can see that he is actually an innocent person which forced to put up cold facade because his bad experience in the past. well, jaebum was abused by his parents when he was a child. that was why he was really angry when he knew dain easily pass her baby to strangers. also he put on that facade because he feels like he can't let people get into his life as he has a trust issue. he no longer showed dain any animosity and he even blushes whenever he is near her. he also showing a great deal more affection toward jinwoo and dain.

FIRST MEETING: jaebum worked as a butler in choi family whom dain passed jinwoo to. he knows well that jinwoo felt really sad when passed into strangers by his mom as the baby won't stop crying for whole day and started to getting fever. because he can't stand to see jinwoo suffered like that, he took initiative to look for jinwoo's mom. it wasn't hard, with the help of choi family's driver, he got dain's contact and met her. he told her about jinwoo's condition and ask dain to take jinwoo back. luckily at that time dain already settled everything she need with hayoon. on side note, hayoon kept asking her to take her baby back. so with jaebum, she went to choi family's house and took jinwoo with her. the choi didn't angry, they even didn't ask their money back. they even told dain that she's can come with jinwoo whenever she want because they understand how hard dain life was at that time.

jaebum often looks down on dain and never hesitates to mock her. in turn, she finds his cold personality annoying. however, still, jaebum thanks her for take jinwoo back and told her she has his back. so whenever she needs help, he was more than ready to help. that was when they exchanged number too.

LOVESTORY: well, it is either a good or bad coincidence when dain's apartment was burned and she couldn't afford any other flat with her monthly payment as a librarian. she decided to not call hayoon because the woman already help her a lot so at that confusion, she called jaebum. as a surprise, jaebum offered her to live with him and his family until dain got a new flat.

because of that, dain is already considered as jaebum's girlfriend by his neighborhood and his family. the two don't bother to correct other people's opinions, considering it to be a waste of effort to explain. as the time pass by, their relationship has grown in leaps and bounds. people around jaebum has accepted dain and jinwoo's presence as jaebum's family member. although they still constantly bicker, it's clear that jaebum respects dain and vice versa. jaebum still eats the food that dain makes, even though it's usually too disgusting.

a pinnacle point in their relationship occurs when jaebum helps dain find jinwoo. she lost the baby when she took him to a park.

when jaebum arrived at home with jinwoo on his arm, he gave a very loud scolding to dain. he said that she was endangering jinwoo, and that she was being very reckless and stupid. but dain shouted back, at the same volume, that she is tired of being a mom at such a young age. it was the first time for jaebum seeing dain break down. it made him realize the hardships she had been going through alone all these time.

- whenever dain, jinwoo, and jaebum walk together, people really think they are young family

- jaebum knows that dain often stays up at night to study. if he's awake at that time, he'd tell her to go to bed eventhough he knows she won't
- dain thinks of jaebum as her safe place because whenever she goes crazy and frustated about her life, he is always there to soothe her
- jaebum always takes a mental note of every little thing dain and jinwoo likes. he also always makes sure jinwoo is in his radar

COMMENTS. i am a er for the bickering people to lovers trope, so i though having someone like jaebum as her love interest would be fun. this character was mainly inspired by anime titled beelzebub anyway.

- dain opens up more about her past and is making an effort to make friends at the club
- dain and jaebum going for a real date without jinwoo. but the two keep thinking of him so in the end they bring jinwoo with them
