What people said...haha

I used to work in Promotion department for a magazine publishing house. My job required me to be in market every time. I enjoyed going out, attending events, meeting people, being updated on latest market buzz. But during festive season, there used to be so much pressure. I still remember I worked for 3 months without a single day leave, Christmas, New Year, Valentines' Day and all celebrations continually...sigh. Then, I started to grumble, I would rather have table work, I don't like having to go out every time. Finally I got a job for the position of Executive Secretary.

When I resigned, the CEO of the media house told me that I would find the job boring soon, to stay indoors, doing desk job was not my cup of tea. I didn’t heed his words seriously but later I was tired of being cooped up in the office. I felt like I lost the liveliness at work.

Again, in the new organization, as an Executive Secretary, I had my separate cabin. But looking at other department celebrating occassion, uniting, working together, I felt like I was solo in my department, I wanted company. I thought it would be fun having lunch together, sharing things together, going out together. When I shared my thoughts, one of my colleague told me that I would miss the peace and privacy of having my own space later. That I am feeling so true these days :(

In my current office, the workspace is open cabin, eveyone are in single floor, divided only by half partition. So much noise, so much of seeing one another every time...lol I miss my previous cabin!

I just wanted to rant...hehe
