Honestly, write what you want! I know Japanese stories here are pretty niche and maybe only a select certain number of people would read it (due to the amount of K-Pop based fanfiction overwhelming majority of the other types of fanfics found here), but seriously, if you like it, go for it! There will eventually be someone who reads your story. Good luck!
