If it's true but you have changed a lot compared to the past, please don't leave the group despite netizens demand. Fight it with your members, stay strong and apologise. Don't ever leave.

I came across an article regarding netizens demanding a Seventeen member to leave the group due to the bullying accusations.

I'm not a fan of Seventeen or any of kpop group. I'm more like an avid listener to songs that attracts my attention and honestly, I don't really listen to songs because I'm more like a picky listener? It's difficult for songs to attract my attention. So, for korean group songs, if a song attracts me, that song would be a hit because if that song could attract a picky listener like me, what's more the public? And true enough, the songs that attracted my attention would always be a hit and end up making those groups very popular.

In my life since I started listening to korean songs, for boy groups, there are songs from only 4 boy groups that attracted my attention which makes me ended up liking them. 3 of the boy groups are from the smaller companies. Before I started liking them, they weren't that popular or famous. But when a song released from each of these 3 groups attracted my attention, these groups popularity started to soar making them totally popular today. And one of them is Seventeen.

Seventeen... I just started to like them recently after listening to Left and Right. And then I found out that it was the first time they had a million seller because of this album. My judgement never goes wrong huh... Before this, I knew that Seventeen is a talented group and perhaps I did listened to their songs when it played through the radio or television before but I don't think that I actually came across their performances before. I just knew that this group has 13 members so I never actually had the thought of looking up for the performances and MVs. And strangely, this group MVs didn't pop up in my youtube homepage before I think.. Otherwise, I would have click their MVs..hmm..

And until Left and Right happens.. The MV for this song appeared in my youtube homepage one day and I clicked in and then from then on I'm hooked to this song and until today I'm still listening to it. And then I only started trying to get to know about the members.. Watching their other MVs, behind the scenes videos, interviews, variety shows etc.. And wow.. they had so many MVs and they released so many songs. Then I found out there is a song called Pretty U and I really like it. And that was their first win. Clap is also another title song that I really like it and it felt so relatable that I just kept listening to it.

Moving on to their performances, behind the scenes videos and interviews.. Watching these videos made me know more and more about them and the more I watch the more they surprised me and more members started to attract my attention. I was impressed with them the more videos I came across. Even the group before them which I like too, honestly, I'm only attracted to a few members. It's not possible to like all the members. Especially when there are many members in a group.

So, I never expected to actually like all 13 members of Seventeen which was crazy. Their teamwork wow...

And that member who was accused for bullying.. Based on what I have seen from the videos and interactions with the fans, it is difficult to believe he did that in the past based on the behaviour that he potrayed now. Of course I can't judge just based on the videos since maybe it is just a facade for broadcasting purpose. But if a person is sincere and is with a good heart, you can definitely see and felt it from the way the person speaks or the person's actions or interactions with fans.

He might be a changed person now if he did that in the past. It was during his school days. It's not like it happened when he's an adult. School days are the times where you are succumbed to peer pressure, facing puberty and still trying to figure the right and wrong. I could relate to this because the person I am today is totally different from the past me in middle school. In the past, I was afraid of not having any friends and afraid of being lonely so I tend to follow a group of friends. And this group of friends think they are so superior. Whatever this leader says, we must follow. Otherwise, they will unfriend and outcast the person who doesn't follow them. And I did whatever the leader said, afraid of being an outcast. But as time passes and I met different kinds of people with even worst attitude which caused me to almost fail my university subject, I realised that these people are so not worth being friends with. I would rather be alone than befriending them. I don't need friends if they are with character. And true indeed, I don't have many friends now or more like I only have one true best friend because the other people I met in life are the type who don't friend me for the way I am but rather prefer to only find me when they needed me. But I don't mind not having friends if I want to be a good person. And now I'm comfortable of being alone most of the time.

This member who was accused.. If he really did it in the past, then I would say he has changed now. If he still has the same mindset as in the past, then I would say he is a very good actor who should get an Oscar. I'm not sure about the public, but I usually could see a sincerity in a person. From what I have seen about him, he is a good person.

I know people would say I defended him because I like his group. No, you are wrong... Out of that 3 boy groups that I like, Seventeen is the third group. The first group that I like if not mistaken was from the 2nd generation? This first group... initially I think they have good character but I could see the change when they became famous. Even though the public thinks that they have very good manners and have good character, from what I have seen from their interactions with their fans, they weren't that sincere. I can't say for all the members but I happened to see the interaction of a member with a fan and I could see that it wasn't that sincere. And then I saw their dance practice video, they were just dancing for the sake of dancing. This group did became famous because of a song which I like but the songs after that.. I always felt something was missing when I watched their performances and I'm not surprised when they could not beat the popularity from the groups from bigger companies. They are popular but when comes to awards, they could not surpassed groups from bigger companies. At that time I thought that perhaps they are from smaller company that's why they could not surpassed the bigger groups...

It was until a song from another group attracted my attention which is the second group that I like. Then later I found out this song was their first win in music shows. This group is from a company which is much smaller compared to the company of the first group. Compared to the first group, when this group became famous, their teamwork got stronger instead. And they continued to work hard and always stay humble which I could see from their videos and their interactions with fans. And each song released after that kept surpassing my expectation. I was not surprised when they won the Daesang surpassing the bigger groups. And until today, they are globally popular. It's because they are sincere in what they are doing. People could feel it from hearing and watching their performances.

Then the third group... Seventeen. I thought I would not like any group anymore after the second group because there are so many groups nowadays and their performances are quite similar which are not so special anymore which is just my opinion. But then I came across Seventeen. Seventeen is just like the second group in terms of their teamwork and their personalities like being humble and sincere in what they are doing. In fact, I really really like and admire their teamwork despite having so many members in their group. Compared to the second group, I felt like the teamwork in the second group is more like professional behaviour rather than like friends.. But Seventeen.. maybe is the little despite many members and maybe because of the years that they spent with each other and being a self-produced group, they are more like friends? It's just my opinion but that's why I really admire Seventeen's teamwork. And I felt that if a member leaves, the whole group will go down together. Even the group name says a lot. How are they going to explain the meaning of their group name with just 12 members? I really felt their passion and sincerity in their work as well as their hard work. Compared to the second group that actually came from a good company, Seventeen's setback is their company which caused them to work even harder.

Therefore, just because of something happened in the past during school days, this member has to leave the group? What if this member has changed a lot better compared to the past? You can't destroy their career because of what they did in school. It's a different story if the member did it during his career in this group. Then people would say what about the victim? It's not fair to the victim. My question is.. Why the victim only expose now and not early in Seventeen's career? Why? If they said it is because the victim finally has the confidence in exposing it. Fine. But don't they think the victim is no different than being a bully? Don't the netizens think they are no different than being bullies? You rather destroy a person's career because of what that person did to you before? Isn't that revenge? If let say that member is a really bad person, he would receive his punishment one day in the form of karma. Don't say I'm not reasonable and I'm not in the victim's shoes. I was bullied before too. I choose to let it go. The most I would make sure not to come across the same path with that person who bullied me or just ignore them. Because I believe in karma. Imagine if I destroy a person's life because of what that person did to me, I would not be able to sleep well. I'm no different from that person then.

Dear victim, if you are a victim of bullying before, think of it as a challenge in life that you had to go through. Everything happens for a reason. The challenges that you went through is so that you can become a stronger person so that you can easily overcome any obstacles later on in your life. Don't destroy someone's else life because of what you went through. Meditate, pray, or release your pent up anger in the form of writing a diary.. These are the methods to let go all your hatred and worries in life.

Dear Seventeen and Pledis, if that member is a really good person or has changed a lot better compared to the past, fight for him. Fight together with him. Stay strong. Apologise if it was a mistake done in the past. Don't disregard him. If he leaves, the whole group and the company would crumble. This is what I felt. The future of Seventeen is very bright. Please don't make a decision that you can't reverse and regret later on.

Okay. This is my first time actually writing this kind of thing and defending a group member. This is how much I could see that he is a talented person, he works really hard and is a kind person. If he's a bad person.. wow.. he can be a great actor then.

I know nobody would read this.. I'm just releasing my frustrations and thoughts. I hope that when I come back to this entry in the future, Seventeen still stay strong as 13 members and even more famous than now.
