Feedback? Fantasy world, Pirates, dragons, fantasy AU with a storyline...?

I've been thinking about this for a long time, but I've been out of roleplaying for quite a while and none of the ones I've done in the past have truly taken off except for one.

There are five countries, and whether its Mewe or Facebook, there will be one group per country to interact with your countrymen or to travel from one to another.

The Races are: Humans, Dwarves, Elves, and Witches. (unsure about vampires, wolves, or mermaids but they are possibilities)

Most countries have military, so the occupations that are already offered are Soldiers, clan leaders, merchants, pirates. Allowing Royalty to be played and not NPC is still up for debate, though i'm always down for it. As well as family trees- making families and having other roleplayers adopt the role as your child(ren) as wanted connections.

This is not modern, so women wear dresses mandatorily (with exceptions ;)) and there is no electricity, its closer to Medieval time or if you've seen Maleficent, it's that type of world. I have a map ready, which you can see below, but the races, countries, storyline need work.

If anyone likes this idea, and wants to be an admin, look below!

Admins that would be needed:

-Graphics (Does the art, updates it, etc)
-Co-admin (Helping keep the rp flowing, advertising)
-Event Coordinator (Create, host events in the RP)

ooh i loveee fantasy au and worldbuilding but personally, it can feel a bit daunting to go through an intense information dump upon first look into the rp? making the concept easier to digest would help for it to 'take off', i think, especially for writers who may not be all too familiar with the genre. the range in countries, races and occupations both excite and worry me because while i do enjoy creative freedom, it is hard to predict how easily the characters' paths will cross without their interactions becoming too repetitive or too unrealistic? for example, if my character happens to be currently residing in a country that's lacking in terms of active members, i would miss out on interactions that make more sense to be done with fellow locals than visiting travellers. it's more of a personal gripe though, so take this with a grain of salt!

and you mentioned that you'd have groups dedicated for each country, i thought maybe they could each have a unique event that would pose as an excuse to have everyone from all over to gather and attend it? not necessarily festival-esque, if you want to throw exciting genres into the mix. (perhaps a specific coronation where an attempted assassination takes place, or a festival interrupted by a natural disaster, etc. etc.) anyway, i'm excited to see how this rp takes off! also, pirates are y.

I could try to be the event coordinator. I'm great with creating things and hosting events.
